The legend of Mae Nak Pra Kanong which believed to be a true story of a young wife who died while giving birth to her first baby. Her spirit was still waiting for her husband Mak to come home from war. One day he came home not knowing that his wife had already dead, they still lived together In their own home like normal. He began to find out bit by bit from the unusual things and what people have told him but he thought they were crazy. However, Nak became angry not understanding why people tried to separate them . I remember watching these Thai famous series on tv since I was a kid. This love story of Mae Nak has been made into movies many times. And every time before they start shooting, they would make a proper ceremony to pay respect to Mea Nak to ask for permission. And every movie sets, the Mae Nak cast, would experienced the spirit of Mae Nak. Even until the modern days.

Thank you for this nice VDO. Mae Nak Phra Khanong Or often called Mae Nak), or also known as Nang Nak, is a well-known ghost of Thailand. She has long hair, a sabai, and a loincloth. The most noticeable feature is that she is standing holding her child at the waterfront. It is believed that this story actually happened at the end of the reign of King Rama 3-4 of the Rattanakosin period ( about 200 years ago ). Mae Nak Shrine is located which is highly sacred to people in and outside the area These people respectfully call Mae Nak "Yanak" ( "Ya" is means Grand-mother ). Some believe that Mae Nak's body was buried between the twin Takian trees in the shrine with people who came to ask for what they wanted. a lot especially about love.

The story of Mae Nak Phra Khanong ends with the Patriarch (the highest rank of monk, comparable to the Pope) named "To", being invited by the villagers to help suppress the spirit of Mae Nak. He gave her a lecture about the sins and merits of Buddhist teachings. Then she left and this Patriarch hypnotized her soul by piercing a bone in her forehead and chanting a soul-directing incantation. There are many versions in the movie, which if it is from Mae Nak's point of view, it will be titled " Nang Nak ". Later, there were many remakes, but in the post-2000s, there was one version that was very popular and had the highest grossing record. Forever one story in Thailand.. This story called " Pee Mak " presents the point of view of Mak who is Mae Nak's husband. Normally, the legend of Mae Nak is a scary ghost style. But Pee Mak will be the perspective of Mae Nak's husband and made into a romantic comedy movie.

If u not yet watching, u may find it from Netflix spending time around almost 150 minutes (Sub End) but if u find from the youtube it wil be talking Ur time a lot as it is the series around 20 episodes and each around 75 minutes. (No Sub End) Key word is แม่นาค 1 more thing with the No 24, u got it is a very good no and if u love the meaning in their. U must keep it in Ur pocket money. And don't forget to buy 1 or 2 piece(s) of Lottery in Thailand with 2 last digits of 24. 1 piece of Lottery is around 100THB but some time but 2 pieces around 240 THB. (5555 this the standard price in the market) Hope u will good luck with that No.24

That movie was banned by Thailand. Because in reality it is not possible that non-royal people could walk in an intimate conversation with the King of Thailand. The procedure for the audience includes ceremonies and procedures to show great respect. And in the movie the king's dress is completely different from reality. Movie actors are bald. but the Thai King is not Importantly, in the tradition of that era, women could not have any arguments like in the movies.

Nang Nak (1999) is the most successful version. There is also another 'alternate timeline' version of Mak called 'Pee Mak' (2013), which is a horror-comedy film. Both are worth watching.
