Really? I could understand if someone was in a coma & woke up then, but they’re still living each decade w/ it’s various changes; we’re human & adapt to survive, thrive. My uncle loved communications of any kind, had computers, mobile phone, iPad, FB, email, texted. He died 30 Dec 2018 at 101½. He was alert, spry communicating w/ friends he found overseas (& everyone else) that fought along side of him when he served during WWII right up until about a year prior to dying due to an injury he got from dancing in community theatre.

Hi Laura! I've been watching your videos for awhile now and I love them! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person on the planet that loves anything vintage, but then I found your channel and finally found videos that cover topics that I'm totally interested in. I'm into vintage beauty products, pop culture, and learning little known facts about "old hollywood" starlets. Your videos are very well made and it shows that you put a lot of thought into them. Thank you for making such interesting videos!

I hate that they changed the packaging of that Coty Airspun face powder. I have a favorite photo of my late sister sitting at her vanity in 1987 and there's one of those beautiful boxes of powder in the old packaging. The scent smells the same though so I'm glad they didn't change that. I also still wear Tabu. I got a bottle for Christmas from a friend back in the late 70's and loved it so I still wear it.

Love the video, Ms. Laura! I wonder if you would consider doing a video on any of these ideas: 1) Covering the characters and beauty products that Betty and Veronica from Archie comics would use; it would also be interesting see if their Riverdale counterparts are accurate to their comic portrayals and what (vintage) products they would use to achieve a more accurate look. 2) Covering the characters of Velma Kelly and Rosie Hart from Chicago and what products they would use/products customers can still buy today. 3) Covering the characters of Grease especially Sandra Dee and the Pink Ladies and what products they would use/products customers can still buy today. You obviously can choose whether or not to do a video on any of these topics, but I would love to hear your thoughts about it. Wishing you safe health!

Inflation ... The dollar was worth more because it could buy more, overtime prices rise. When one adjusts old prices for inflation one finds out the equivalent in today’s money. You can google “inflation calculator” just for fun and try it out- many such tools exist.
