I agree. I've noticed in areas that we have changed our culture to assimilate more with them, and it should be the other way around. When basic everyday things cater to another culture more than our own country, something doesn't feel right. Available food choices have changed, and many movies are in Punjabi instead of English. Communication is also a huge problem. Going to a doctor (if you can even find one) or the hospital, for example, and they can't understand you, nor you them. Im terrified of hospitals now, and they feel dangerous enough, but now you can't even communicate. Then you have many of them pooping on the beaches. Come on! I'm not against responsible immigration, but Canada is no longer Canada with what these 'leaders' have done to this beautiful country. It's not a mosaic, it feels like an invasion.

5o years ago, and before 2015, immigration was tied to labour force needs, and we accepted the refugees/asylum seekers that could be accomodated by our infrastructure. Canada cannot sustain mass immigration of essentially economic migrants (1.2 million in the last year) overwhelming our existing infrastructure including housing, education, physicians, health care shortages, physicians, nurses etc. There are no jobs, and competition for them is fierce. With government policies that pay employers to hire immigrants rather than existing Canadians shows the level of inequality Canadians are experiencing. Our kids can't get a summer job, or a senior a part time job to help make ends meet...because flooding the labour market forces down wages, and employers get money for hiring newcomers and pay them a lower wage. More than 2 million Canadians are forced to use food banks since 2022. Without our oil and gas sector, Canada does not have the tax base and money to support mass immigration and not only build new infrastructure, but also maintain existing infrastructure. Crime rates and violence have soared exponentially as a result. Many Canadians have been waiting for a doctor for 5 years, some as long as 10 years...our existing and scarce low income housing wait lists have Canadians bumped down the list to accomodate economic refugees. It is our government that is to blame. Time for an election and some common sense. It is false for our media to claim that Canadians hate immigrants, we don't, but we also can't manage the flood that the government has allowed to occur.

However, I’m in a very big trouble I submit my visitor visa application yesterday and unfortunate for me I mistakenly upload my friend documents( cover letter, invitation letter flight itinerary and hotel reservations all are in his name instead mine) I’m totally devastated right now. There is a reason for this, even though I think doors should be open to anyone that wants to become canadians. The reason being there is not enough housing. And that is throughout Canada. There is a lack even for people who already live here. They took too many immigrants compare to many other countries. But the provinces did not put money on housing for many years. The same with schools and not enough teachers.
