The people need major help far beyond what the mayor or city can provide. This is on a scale of any natural disaster, such as a Typhoon or Earthquake. The Government needs to step in, and in a big way quickly. The vulnerable children need to be evacuated before diseases takes hold. The ideal of letting this place being repopulated/ rebuilt as it was needs to be thought out carefully.

It’s the sad truth my family experienced it 1967,a neighbor left a candle burning and accidentally burn their curtain ,we the next house to them was not even told she just panic run out of the house ,it’s only the people across the Estero who shouted to let us know what’s goin on 😢

I appreciate that people in the Philippines are always smiling and happy, even though their living conditions are very difficult. they know very well how to hold on to life. Very good people. that's why i love them. God help them... long time ago I met a woman in the city of Imus Cavite... her husband left her a long time ago 😡and . has a 10 year old son... lives with his family. and since she is not officially divorced, she cannot start a new life with someone else. she is alone in the city and desperately needs help. We both became good friends and we love each other and I want to get him out of that country and take him with me. or I could go there and live with it but being together in real life is forbidden because the Philippines state does not allow it. do you know when the divorce law will come out? 😑

I don't know what did set the fire, but people don't take electricity lightly, if you can't replace loose outlets, at least don't use them, if you hear crackling noises from breakers or appliances, until you can take care of it don't use it unplug it isolate it as much as your understanding reaches, some house burn just from bad condition little outlets left unintended with plugged lamps chargers ect, you have to be conscious of these things

I agree. I told my Filipina girl friend several months ago that this was going to happen. I have been watching so many Vlogs on the slums of the Philippines. She lives in a different area of Cavite City and that mostly thieves purse snatchers, kidnappers, drug users and sellers live in that area.
