April wasn't great, but then the weather forecast said it all, and sadly continues with unsettled weather and rain. 450kWh from my 5.6kW WSW facing array, PVGIS estimated 545 😞 Gas tracker is still worth it, even though my April consumption was down making my overall cost saving less my percentage saving was still 31.2%

First time watching you videos and really enjoyed. I had a similar experience in Swansea with a 4.65kWh south array. 20% down on last year, but this was my first month with Octopus and on Flux, if you want I have a video on my channel with a full breakdown.

7.36kWp array. Our best days were in the middle of April in Cornwall. Highest day 20/04/24 46.4Kwh lowest day 10/04/24 8.26Kwh Octoplus Flux tariff. Generated 711.89kWhs. Exported 329.83Kwhs Bill from Octopus £47.14 in credit.

Only my 2nd April, but it was slightly down from 21.81kWh per day to 21.18kWh per day - about 20kWh less for the month. 6.84kWp SE facing array in the Midlands. Low of 6.3kWh on 22nd, high of 40.6kWh on 30th

Amazing video - Im getting my system installed on Monday. Getting a 3.36kw array with Micro Inverters and a Tesla power wall. Got a question about export as we have been told by the DNO there is an export limit of 4kw not sure what this means. Any ideas? - The installers mentioned it a limit of 4kw at any given moment not 4kw for the entire day for example - Wondering if you had a limit? The installer applied for a G99

It should be 4kw max at any point. This will be limited anyway by the inverter anyway, plus probably how much your battery can export as well. You could export your battery and solar at the same time. Dno usually agree to a particular application you specified before installation and then you have to stick to it. If you upgrade your output you would then need to apply again.

Makes sense, thanks for the clarification Got a Tesla powerwall 2 so the max is 5 on that. But either wait will be limits to 4 from the dno

My first full month. Not set up for export yet. Still, only used 7kWh for all of April and i think that was me testing whether i could charge the battery in the off peak time and other than those one or two nights (until i set the battery max lower) Ive not used off peak (I'm on GO currently). Exported 318kWh to Octopus for no money at all. (I guess that could have been nearly £50? On the upside car mileage of 650 miles cost nothing I am lucky that I can adjust my charger to whatever output I deem reasonable generally 16 amps so about 3.6Kw. Still a bit of inneficiency as inevitably some somar goes into battery and then back out to car, when a cloud comes across the sun for example and the solar drops below about 4.

When we were not set up for export we tried to use everything we could.

4 kw array in Leicestershire generated 404 kwh for the month. Best day was the 30th with 26.3kwh, worst day was 22nd with 5.6 kwh. I also heat the hot water on the off peak rate but only from 4:30 to 5:30 as it only takes 30 -40 minutes to heat the tank before it switches off on the immersion thermostat. In a power consumption graph of the house I can see when the immersion heater comes on and heat the water up about 30 minutes then there is an off period and then a short spike on the graph when the immersion comes on again so I think I am saving cycles that are not required and then the I-Boost tops up the hot water on excess solar. Today it diverted 1.95 kwh of excess solar into the hot water cylinder.

Depends on which of the historic electricity regions you live in London and the east of England have always been cheaper. Our standing charge is 65.12p per day in the South West of England.
