I'm pretty sure it would have been more sanitary and cheaper to replace that section of carpet with how small it is
@whoooozen7 жыл бұрын
The cleaning would be less than replacement. It is likely based on the condition of the rest of the walls and carpet that can be seen that it is mostly a "Get it as clean as possible until it can be replaced" scenario.
@devronlarson96057 жыл бұрын
Here is the situation, the carpet is only a few years old. It's a lifestyle issue. Replacing the carpet is not the solution because the carpet is actually still in very good structural condition, that is why it cleans up so good. What needs to be changed is the lifestyle.
@robs1047 жыл бұрын

abra kadabra What people don't realize is,all of that dirt and filth gets pushed down into the padding and subfloor. No way I would have cleaned that and walked away. Much cheaper to replace these rental carpets than the cost of what is was to pay this crew. Don't get me wrong, they did a good job but; you cannot suck up all of that mess. It goes DOWN when the carpet gets soaked by the cleaning machine.Steam/water...it's all the same.
@nunyabusiness7527 жыл бұрын
abra kadabra I was thinking the same thing. That nasty stuff is still under the carpet. It will eventually work its way up again.
@garysanford50965 жыл бұрын
1: At the beginning he was using an upholstery tool not an actual carpet cleaning wand. 2: The scrubber that was used is generally only good for surface cleaning. Which in this case is fine, due to the fact that it was all surface dirt. 3: Even though there were pressure hoses, the carpet was bone dry when they were finished, it generally takes approximately 1 to 2 hrs for the carpet to fully dry. 4: IF the carpet was actually that dirty, a pre spray would have been required in order to get it clean. 5: In my professional opinion (cleaned carpets for 20 yrs. Have all my tickets except the Master Carpet Inspectors ticket) a regular vacuum would have done the job.

Under the kitchen sink I can see ground they don’t care just left the shelves broke and most likely where mice are coming in from and God knows what else. Last house same crap and I also had a snake come in from under the dishwasher. Bcuz I had turned them in to code enforcement after 2 1/2 yrs of roof leaks I never unpacked bcuz mice. Long story short my 5 kids and I were kicked out. Oh forgot to mention the ceiling in the garage fell on me. But bcuz I couldn’t afford a good lawyer I had to move out CRLA is free but they don’t help that much. They told me I won bcuz I didn’t have to pay rent. Yet I still feel I didn’t bcuz my kids and I had to move in with my mom. My clothes, my brand new bed mice pissed and 💩 on. I paid no less than $400 in electricity every month bcuz the hole in the roof and old ac sucked. The carpets in the house I’m in now are filthy I took pics of everything just like the last house. I got all my deposit back from the last house like u said bcuz I left it in better condition then when I first moved in. If you are a professional carpet cleaner and can't tell that the dirt was put on the floor just to make the video then you can't be a professional carpet cleaner
@Livereater6 жыл бұрын
Um, you just threw some potting soil on the carpet. It wasn't ground into the fibers. Easily sucked up by any carpet cleaner. Nice try.

It is very clear dirt had been applied before cleaning.
@devronlarson96056 жыл бұрын
Wanda DScott yes you are 100% correct, over 18 months the home owners applied a tremendous amount of dirt to the carpets, but it wasn't us. Look I get it, people like you probably can't imagine ever letting your carpet get this dirty and therefore think we staged this. I would too. But the fact is I have cleaned this home 3 times now and with 12 people in their home and not the best cleaning skills, this video is 100% unstaged.

Devron Larson thanks for the reply. I knew this wasn't regular traffic dirt... good job on the cleaning

Barbyl W not really, you should have seen the waste water, it was black, black, black. Not saying that this carpet was perfect when we were done, but with what we removed it was 1000 times better. Thanks for the comment

Was that dirt ground in or did they sprinkle it on top?
@stephihampton5 жыл бұрын
Why is the carpet so dirty in the first place? Like they dumped dirt in the middle of the floor and walked all over it. Great job!

My family thinks I'm crazy but I have a pan of water and a scruby door mat that I step into before going into my house with my shoes on. Just 4 drops of dawn and a few ounces of bleach. Change the water out every other day and you'll gag at all the grime in the pan.
@fgfg6336 жыл бұрын
That's so gross! That area of carpet is small enough where you could just replace it. What happened to the door? What a filthy place.

Probably would have been cheaper to replace the carpet with either new carpet or laminated flooring. Not to mention it would look better having one type of flooring instead of 3 in one room.
