I'm 73 years old. I've been suffering from hip bursitis for several months. I've had several physio sessions without success. I had difficulty walking my dog. So as a last resort I've been using castor oil on my hip. From the first day I've felt the difference. After one week, I was at my daughter's wedding dancing the night away, Nutbush the lot. No pain at all. Castor oil is incredible.

I would like to have a better understanding of how you did this. Did you spread it all over with your hand and then sleep on a towel? Did you do it in the day and then wipe it off before getting dressed? I’d like to understand it because I have hip bursitis and my daughter is getting married. But it’s very messy as I’m sure you know. But I’ve had it for years and I sleep on that side. So I’d like to hear how often and exactly how you did this with your hip. Thanks. Janet

I’ve been using it consistently for almost 2 months now, at least twice a week on my hair. I just take a drop into the area on my scalp that has thinning hair and massage the oil onto my scalp with my fingers. I don’t use a lot to the point of the oil dripping. I also put about a drop on my finger tip and apply it to my lashes and brows and use as a moisturizer as well. What I noticed today to my surprise was that my skin tag near my left outer eye had completely disappeared. I think it was from putting castor oil on my lashes. I wasn’t even trying to use it for the skin tag. Amazing! What I’ve also noticed is that I no longer lose clumps of hair in the shower. I used to lose scary amounts of hair but since I started using castor oil, I sometimes don’t see any hair loss or just a stand or two. Amazing! I also see a lot of baby hair. I’ve always had baby hair but now it’s very noticeable. This stuff works!

Great tip with removing castor oil from your hair: slather conditioner on dry hair, then wash out with warm water. Only then shampoo as normal. Conditioner removes the caster oil. Removes the need to repeat the shampoo stage and potentially dry out your hair and scalp which defeats the purpose. Really works

Has anyone had success with using CO for crepey skin on arms, legs? There’s always mention of what it does for skin on face but not skin on the rest of the body.
@ceceoo110 ай бұрын
I found CO last summer as I looking for a remedy for hair loss due to an autoimmune disease. I lost so much hair from my head, I had bald spots on my eyebrows and the tail end of one brow lost. Now my crown doesn’t look so sparse, no more bald spots on my brows and my tail end grew back! Another way I use it now was quite by accident. One early morning, I was working in my vegetable garden and the mosquitoes were horrendous. My ankles were full of bites. I remember Barbara O’Neill saying you can put CO on snake bites, so I thought, well mosquito bites aren’t as bad as snake bites so why not gave it a try. I rubbed CO directly on the bites…holy moly, within a few seconds the itching and redness was gone and the swelling gone within a few minutes! Amazing stuff!

Personally, castor oil cured fungus in my big toe. I'd picked up this fungus in a gym about 4 years ago; my doctor told me I should just "live with it"; at a foot clinic I was told I needed laser treatment (costing a couple of thousand bucks); I tried many different home remedies. Finally, after hearing all the buzz, I purchased an inexpensive castor oil that came in a plastic bottle (costing eight bucks). I began rubbing the castor oil into my toe a couple of times a day, and within two days the fungus was gone! I totally recommend castor oil for fungus conditions (and you don't need to buy an expensive brand).

We had a friend who was pregnant and decided to purposefully ingest castor oil to induce labor. This was very bad. The baby suffered from Meconium aspiration. This happens when a baby has their first bowel movement before they're born, causing them to breathe in a mixture of meconium and amniotic fluid. When baby takes their first breaths after birth, they run the risk of inhaling, or aspirating, meconium particles deep into their lungs. This caused her newborn much respiratory distress and hypoxia. And was in nicu for a few weeks. Please don't take castor oil when pregnant.

You look amazing for 54! I am 39 in a few months, and I am going through that stage (I think a lot of women go through around this time) where I’m feeling like I am floundering. My 2 sons are in their teens, I’ve suddenly realised I’m about to be 40, and I still feel like I should be 25. Where did the last 13+yrs go? It’s that midlife crisis I reckon, and it’s making me feel quite self conscious about my physical appearance. I never did any skin care, aside from water, cloth and occasional moisturiser. Thankfully due to a good diet and naturally oily skin (as well as very, very minimal make up use for my entire adulthood), I still have youthful, mostly wrinkle free skin, BUT, I am seeing myself ageing now. So here I am, ordering castor oil, and watching your video feeling hopeful.
@SallyAtkins9 ай бұрын
Hi and welcome I’m so happy you’re here. We are told it’s a natural part of life and of course it is but it seems to happen almost overnight. Protect your skin and think about your diet too. As you have oily skin you won’t see wrinkles as fast as some but your skin will still age due to a lack of collagen. I’m doing many more videos on how to keep your skin looking and feeling younger soon. Have a great day Sally

I slowly got better but ended up with a nasty rash, itchiness and swelling on my girly bits. So I rubbed castor oil on myself down there every night after my shower and by the third day the itchiness and redness were about 98% gone. I'll keep doing it until I'm completely back to normal. I'm also using it in my belly button and noticed my BMs were softer and smoother more easily expelled. Using it on my face as a moisturiser and I"m noticing my eyes aren't dry any more, my eyebrows are thicker and my lashes softer and coming in thicker as well. Since menopause, the hair on my head, my eyebrows and my eyelashes have completely stopped growing. Not any more though! Looking forward to the belly bloat disappearing as well. The antibiotics killed a lot of good microbiota in your digestive tract. You have an overgrowth of bad microbiota. This imbalance affects your immune system. You've temporarily solved the groin issue, but the imbalance inside needs attention. Get yourself a very good probiotic, and eat some fermented foods, like real sour kraut, kimchee, fresh pickles( that were not exposed to heat processing), and of course, low sugar kefir and good yogurt. The bad microbiota, like candida, feed on sugars, breads, pastas, etc. Cut them down or out for a while.

When taking strong antibiotics, us women sometimes tend to get a yeast infection. May be what you're referring to. What helps with that, esp instant relief, plain yogurt on a tampon, insert down there, repeat process for a few days. Instant 👌🏻
@lisalapoint70229 ай бұрын
That sounds good for the immediate relief of yeast infection. But the candida WILL reoccur because the candida growth is actually originating from the gastro intestinal tract , and the imbalance must be corrected there.

As a teenage girl, decades ago, I got a good advice from a salesman of make-up products, as I wanted a product for eyelash care. He said, I should never buy products, only take castor oil, because good products have it as main ingredient, but they cost too much. I bought it for very litte money from a pharmacy, used it to remove make-up and to moisturize my face, my eyelashes grew not more or thicker, they remained the same, but now, at the age of 60, I have the same eyelashes and almost no wrinkles. I always used it for demakeup or the lips, alternating with almond oil and some experiments (over the years) with care products that were advertised or used by friend, only frustrating, going back to the roots. My friends all have more wrinkles and pay a lot for skincare, no matter what I told them. I love it. It didn't work with my hair, too sticky, there I use jojoba oil, but it's best for nails too.

I started using Castor oil three days ago, for a small growth on my eyelid. It’s completely gone! Eye doctor was “ watching it”. I wanted it gone quickly! I heard about this years ago from my grandmother.I ordered a bottle off Amazon. CO is also helping get rid of acne and tightening my skin! I already see changes! I suggest you should Test a small spot first before applying it all over. Amazing stuff minus the chemicals!

I have had a sty in my eye for years, I even went to a dr to have it removed but it just got worse from the sugery (that was before lasers) anyways I was about to make an appointment with an eye dr as I could not take my eye feeling like it had an eyelash in it or sand and i was miserable. So I ordered a bottle of castor oil on a whim that someone said it helped your eyelashes grow. Well long story short the very next day I could NOT feel that damn sty! That was a week ago and it still has not come bace! YaY. Not sure about my eyelashes as yet but I'll take the sty cure. heh.

Just remember your castor oil should be cold press and hexane free. We have been using it all our lives. I am from the Caribbean. I steam my hair with a combination of castor oil, coconut oil and the skins of red onion and the skins of garlic. My hair is doing so much better. Right now I have a pac on my back. I sleep with it every night. It penetrates very deep into your cells. My back is feeling so much better. In the Caribbean we get a purge before going back to school after the summer break. We were never sick.

Yes, Castor Oil is pretty thick... Get yourselves a bottle of Hyraluronic Acid Serum Mix it with the Castor oil in your palm..it will make the Castor oil glide right on. a few drops of water will allow you to spred it around easily. Hyaluronic Acid helps reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles retaining moisture to the skin, creating a plumping effect. Very nice combination. Use it every day!

Castor oil is phenomenal I’m serious. I started using it on my face about a week and three days ago and I look like a different person. I look like I used to look when I was like 30 or40. I can’t believe it’s amazing incredible. I can look in the mirror now I used it, avoid looking in the mirror I was so horrified. I also use it on my eyes because I used to get dry eyes a lot and my eyes have not been dried since I used to put all these different brand-name drops and they didn’t work castor oil does the job. My next venture is to use it on my abdomen even though I’m not heavy I just want to tighten it up, good luck to everybody. It is great don’t let anyone else tell you differently.😉

I used CO for a bit starting about two weeks ago. I did see improvement, say 50%, with a large dark brown seborrheic keratosis spot. One thing you zipped by got my attention though. I have had horrible insomnia since I turned 41. I’m 60 now. In the last week I sort of fell off using the castor oil, just sporadically rubbing it in here and there, so I didn’t make the connection, but I have noticed in the last couple of nights I have actually slept better. Also, take note that the glass bottle usually comes with a pump for easier application. The pump that's inserted in the oil IS plastic! If you wish to avoid plastics use it without the pump. Some plastic types are safer than others. I bought a plastic bottle of Castor oil once and was horrified that after checking out their website, they proudly announced their plastic bottles are made from 100 percent recycled plastics. Seriously this is nuts because this is a combination of several types and many are down right dangerous.
