Speaking like that to a customer is totally unacceptable. People like that need to be held accountable. If that were to ever happen again please ask for the manager so that you can explain why you don't want her to assist you anymore and to get you a new sales associate.

Ah it all makes sense since you said she was a lot older than you. She was being passive aggressive with you because you are attractive, and the only reason she was acting like this is because she is a narcissist. They love to wind people up, speaking slowly and quietly so that they look like the “normal one” and then they watch you bubble up inside until you finally flip. I have had this myself from various women in the workplace, spent my whole life not knowing why it was happening until I was being gas lit and researched narcissism. The trouble is, once you know about all this, you will be sure to do a mini assessment of everyone you interact with x

Chanel staff are terrible called up and asked them to reserve a bag for me and they said they cannot and that they will get an S.A. to call me within 48hrs 😮 wow okay

Ok…few things… I used to wear a lot of ready to wear Chanel, the sizes do run small…. however…this woman sounds strange!!! I also had an issue where I felt something fitted me perfectly snug and the staff were like size up. They are used to seeing the early sample sizes before collection launch… the runway models wearing them.. it’s like XXS. They have seen the fitting of the clothes looking a certain way. Ok… you are clearly a normal weight… so in her mind for it to fit you should go medium. Plus she was super unhealthy thin by the sounds of it. You know your size, but I can tell you the staff always say size up from my experience. This woman was just clearly rude.. zero etiquette and probably has issues. If I were you I would’ve put on the Xsmall and paraded around in it just to show she’s mental!!! Glad you left. The water throwing was a risky bit though! I was just recently in that Chanel store on Rue Cambon. It’s a throw of the dice with the staff. Sometimes super lovely, sometimes a bit rushy. 🫶M
