You're too funny idahoprep 4 1d Benson Huntley Well ... with a completely new platform that has never been tried before there were bound to be problems that were not evident in initial testing. That being said a trigger that just goes off by touching the bolt is a code red issue. Share the heck out of this so that nobody dies from it. Imagine a dude pulls the trigger on a deer and nothing happens but the deer runs off. Then he lays the rifle across his lap and it goes off. No telling where that round went. Sorry but hard pass for me. 1 1d Jamie Ayers Great video!!!! Lots of potential. 1 1d Red dog 1 Love caring the 365XL.. it’s awesome. Good choice Nutn. I also love the 6.5 creed. 1 1d JD Second video in a row won’t play :( 1d David Goodridge Thank you. Glad you found this problem, not by someone having a terrible accident. Prayers for Sean 1d Hugh Amlett Nutn, I believe Sig actually copied The Fix by Q with this gun, so not entirely original, but more affordable 1 1d Scott Reichard Tired of computer and car and gun companies letting comsumers be the final testing group. Dont buy new designs. Ever.. give the guns a chance to fail on someone else.. I bought a new beretta A400 extreme with kick off. A 2200 dollar shotgun for clays and trap and learning to see if I liked the sports. Ten shots in my barrel inside near the choke exploded.. took beretta a year to replace my 5 day old brand new gun. They had a huge number of bad barrels. That was terrible customer service. At the time I owned only that one brand new shotgun. Bad gun companies are bad news. No more beretta dt 10 or 11 for me.. not after that treatment. Sticking with 725 browning and a backup for me. Sig guns are very expensive .. hope they get the problem resolved fast. But sig is another company that customers seem to come last... sad 1 1d The Nutnfancy Project Sig is already in touch with me on this gun, they're freaking out about it. They said they haven't had this problem in any other Cross; I believe them. So I will Matt, it's owner ship it back and get it fixed. I still think the Cross is awesome and will be a huge winner. BUT I have to share the data and why the review was cut short. I appreciate the story on Beretta, once again proving it's all gun companies that have done. We should be in their corner though b. w/o them we are defenseless! 4 1d Load 2 replies Ned Butcher Can't watch the vid, says can't load link. 1d The Nutnfancy Project Sorry about that Ned and Mike. I just checked it on my iPhone and is playing A OK. I didn't do anything different in this video. I doubt YT is jacking with it; they'd send a notification. Can you try a diff browser or app? It's definitely working in the computer environment too. 1d Mike Maddox Nothing beats real world testing it will bring out the gremlins in any product. 1d Michael Rodman Same as the Ruger AR556 this video won’t play on my iPhone app. 1d Tacticaldoodle It's not playing in patreon for me either, gotta follow the link and watch through YT either in their app or another overlay. Have been diggin' Newpipe for droid at least. Works okay. 1 1d Scott Reichard Any company can have a machining failure. Or one bad part.. safety ends with the man that loads the round.. but the gun hopefully will be a great design and build. I have a sig 716 and 556 and a pair of 516's and four p220's and another pile of various sig p pistols. So I am not anti sig.. I just saw a bunch of mpx reviews with problems associated with can use.. i am glad sig is serious about this. Nuttn we still need to support gun companies.. and I do. Some companies are far more responsive than others. 1 1d The Nutnfancy Project "Nuttn we still need to support gun companies" Amen and I do make that pretty clear in this GRV. The gun companies are under assault from all sides; we can note a testing deficiency which is appropriate here and then move on...just like the P365. 1 1d Scott Reichard Seperate subject a bit.. my best gun company customer service experience was with an ed brown 1911. The barrel link pin came out.. and it still is captured and functioned. But i happened to let them know maybe when i was ordering a new spring. And the head of the shop called and asked me to send the barrel. They would pin and stake it for me.. so i did. He commented that my pistol has many rounds and that they often stake parts further for competition used pistols. Most folks never run that number of rounds. Very very great service and concern . The shop manager wanted my gun perfect.. because it left his shop. Thought people might want to know.. scott 1d The Nutnfancy Project Good to know, score one for Ed Brown service 1d Joshua Wilson Same issue as a few others. I’ve been unable to watch this video, along with the Ruger AR video. I’ll try on my laptop later and see if that works. 1 1d Eric Wow, that trigger problem is pretty huge. 3 1d Matt Post this stuff on Rumble dude. It seems stable, well built, and MONETIZED! 2 1d The Nutnfancy Project I am looking at that platform...maybe I'll post this video there and see how it does. 2 1d Ol Retired Fed I remember your problems with the Ruger SR9. I had issues with mine when the slide lock spring kept falling off. Sent it to Ruger and had it back fixed in 4 days for free as it was still under warranty. Their letter stated they ran 50 rounds through it after the repair. I have never had another problem with it. Wished they still made it. The best companies will fix their failures. 1 1d J Ram And that's why I'm a Ruger fan boy....their customer service has been above and beyond anytime I've dealt with them even when it was something that I did to cause the breakage. 10h Outrider950 It refuses to play. ☹️ 1d Connor Burns You're right about the video. People want to see the new stuff and like the more premium companies 1d Maciej Bakun First thing - I used to not care about weight on my guns but have come way around to your way of thinking and reconfigured my go to AR to lose some weight. But on this thing - it’s not going to be a competition gun in PRS. I shoot PRS and weight is your friend. Balance with heavy 26” M40 profile barrels is your friend. A lightweight 18” bolt gun will not be easy to shoot and anybody trying to shoot it in PRS will quickly realize that. 1d Jerome J wow, that's no good. 1 1d Outrider950 Will you please do a follow up. I am really interested to hear what Sig finds. 3 1d Carl Agbayani I agree with what you said in the video Nutnfancy. Sig should be testing these new guns more and they probably need a more comprehensive QA. The Cross is still on the list for purchase, Cross or that S&W Performance Center 6.5. 1d David and Elizabeth You said it all, Nutn. And good job, Sig. 👏 Keep innovating while owning up to any issues and you will gladly be forgiven. 👨👩👧❤ 1d Joshua Shawala Heard of stuff like this but never saw it happen until now. Only on the Nutnfancy Project. Thanks for the great review! Phake A'Count You don't see that everyday. ...Or maybe you guys do. 22h Paul Griech Are you serious holy crap I’m not sold on sig there pumping out too many different styles of guns! I work in manufacturing and that tells me there quality department has a weak link. 1 20h The Nutnfancy Project I don't know if it's just this gun or a problem with their QC but this gun is dangerous!"

My high end precision rifle started having trigger problems in the first month or so. It was intermittent like what you’re seeing here. Sometimes the firing pin wouldn’t stay cocked when you closed the bolt. Sometimes you’d pull the trigger and it wouldn’t release. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me that the issue was nylon fragments coming off the threads on the set screws used in the trigger mechanism. The fragments were able to move around enough to cause it to be intermittent. The fragments of nylon apparently peel on the screws when you adjust the trigger weight, or over travel. So they made a Gen 2 to correct the issue. They shipped me a new one and that was the end of the issue.

@@anonypersona3189 that’s true to a point, it’s when they claim that they invented the idea and found a part of the market that was untapped or lacking that bothers me more than the “clone” rifle. They used marketing for it that was also a blatant rip off of Q’s marketing which is super shady. That said, I’m watching the vid because they’re bringing the Cross in at a substantially lower price than the Fix and if it gets good reviews after the marketing hype I may pick one up, if not, I’ll save more for the Fix. 29:08 That looks very similar to the problem the Remington 700 trigger had all those years ago. Sig had better fix it (and I know they will). That is the sort of defect where someone could die.

I agree they should fix it, but how exactly would someone die? are you barrel sweeping people with rounds in your gun on the regular? when you know its loaded are you still pointing your barrel at someone? when a round mis-fires or doesn't go off after you pull the trigger do you just toss your gun to the ground in dismay?

They have never been responsible on other similar failures. Super shady
@FinalLugiaGuardian4 жыл бұрын
@@ttonAb2 I agree. You should never point the gun at anything you don't intend to destroy. Having a gun go off when you don't intend for it to even if you will have good muzzle discipline is not a good thing. For example, if you're tired from a long hike out in the woods while hunting, and you think you see a deer and you go to pull the trigger but the gun doesn't fire, then, one of your buddies who was also tired could accidentally walk in front of the gun just as you go to unload that live round out of the chamber and then Bang. Somebody dies. I understand it's a rare kind of situation oh, but it's not completely implausible. Bottom line, the gun should only go off when you pull the trigger and at no other time. However, as I said originally, Sig will fix this. And then this gun will be close to perfect. Anyway, sorry for the long response.

Once I had an issue that was somewhat similar to the trigger not firing when pulled. Granted, it was on an AR platform but was, like I said, similar. I can't remember what trigger it was as I was testing to find which trigger was going to live in that AR forever and I had purchased some Aguila 300 blackout for the testing as I've had great experience with the 556 Aguila in the past for other testing. Well, to get to the point of this already long story, some of the primers had popped out of the casings and become lodged under the cassette. At first, I was getting a true 2 round burst out of the rifle and I wasn't even sure I was even having an issue. But after some time the trigger started getting locked up for lack of a better term and after a couple other ammo induced issues like, 2 rounds so underloaded it wouldn't cycle the bolt and a primer that got lodged in the buffer tube which finally brought me to take the gun apart I found 2 primers stuck under the trigger. But, up to this point it just felt like the trigger was sticking, and when I'd cant the gun alittle, which was kinda natural as it was in pistol form and being that short it felt natural holding that way, it would fire normally. Just thought I'd throw in my experience with a wonky trigger since it reminded me of the awful experience. Edit: If you do happen to read this NutN, please keep us informed of what is found to be the trigger issue. Might help someone down the line. And thanks! Keep up the great content, you have a viewer for life here.
