Not a standard 3950, either a modified version to or a new pixart SKU. Razer said it wasnt called the 3970

I never saw tests that tried to find out how accurate sensors are. I feel like thats a big problem in finding out if this matters. When you say you feel the difference between, lets say a 3370 and a 3395, are you using any similar mice that have these sensors? Because I feel like things shape weight or even dpi deviation, are all more noticeable on a mice than bad accruacy.

True to an extent. Like when I use the OP1WE with a 3370 I can definitely still perform well, but compared to latest razer tech or even the OP18k with a 3395 its a clear difference and I prefer the better input

around 10 years ago with the 3310, sensors started being advertised as "flawless" so you can't really blame people for buying into that. Also when you compare an old mouse to a modern mouse with different shapes, coating, weight and sensor likely the modern mouse will feel much better but it's still difficult to tell how much of it is the sensor.
