My Mexican Fireleg is now 18 years old; her sister passed a few months ago. I bought them as male and female, but they turned out to be females. I keep her on a mix of coco and earth and allow the substrate to dry thoroughly before adding any moister, with average room temps (70's). A diet of various inscets - Crickets, roaches, Worms, Grasshoppers, etc. A few hair kicks over the course of many years but for the most part, a wonderful T to have.

Just wanted you to know that because of your channel and my friend Zander, I now own 2 tarantulas! I was always so scared of spiders. Thought I would never ever ever have a spider in my house. 7 yrs ago I became a ball python breeder, started rescuing reptiles and totally have fallen in love with tarantulas! Cool new addition. I got haired by my B. boehmei today. She's the worst hair kicker I have ever had, the 2nd worst was my last B. boehmei actually. They're still my favorite Brachypelma though. Glad your E. camp seems to be doing better.
