literally none of this is going to happen except maybe something prime related. nintendo isnt going to re-release windwaker and twilight princess for switch because they already did for wiiu. they've already updated the games (though exceedingly little) which is the only reason they did that in the first place aside from filling the gaps between releases. there are no release gaps for switch, there is zero chance nintendo will release the same game again and again on every system they release.

I really wish Nintendo with do a game like Mario 3D All Stars with games from N64, GameCube, and Wii for Zelda. They could do Ocarina of Time for N64, Wind Waker for GameCube, and Twilight Princess for Wii.

That would a nice one! I'd imagine they'd have to add some additional features - like, 4K uprez, etc, to make it a worthwhile buy vs just playing the current N64 games on NSO. That being said... Zelda is my favorite franchise, so, I'd pre-order day 1 haha. The only similar thing I could think of was the Collector's Edition promo desk they gave out on the GameCube. It had The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link, Ocarina of Time, Ocarina Master Quest, and Majora's Mask. That was a great one!

I just want the new switch to have better performance. The latest DBZ budokai looks really good and unfortunately it won't be on the switch, prolly because it lacks power. To be able to play games that only the other console can enjoy is a really significant step up for nintendo, no more cloud BS.

100% agree - based on the recent specs (I did a video on it about a week ago) it seems like we're going to get a device that, from raw power standards sits between the PS4 Pro, and Xbox Series S... but with a good bit more ram.. and... the magic of DLSS Machine Acceleration. Basically, it will be punching way above it's weight class. And we should expect to see all the games that skipped to switch, to hit it natively.

I think they announced they were done adding new content, but that doesn't mean the Mario Kart bundle won't sell gang busters this coming holiday season haha. I still need to play all of that content. We should do some Mario Kart nights in the discord!

I for one am not planning on getting a Switch 2. As I've gotten older my time for games has gone down. So unlike many of the other people in the comments, I'm very excited at the possibility of getting a few more Remakes/remasters as a swan song to the Switch. I'd love Metroid Prime 2+3, Pokémon B&W, Wind Waker, and Xenoblade Chronicles X. I grew up on these titles and would love to touch on them one more time before stepping away from Nintendo for awhile. 😊

I greatly respect this and understand. As I've gotten older, and now have a wife, kid, and own a few companies on top of other work... haha.. I love the good and joy and games can bring, but it's best to keep a healthy balance with what they can ultimately be for you in the end. In practical terms, this results in me having less consoles, and making sure I maximize the time with my wife and baby boy as much as possible. But what I do appreciate about the Switch, and Nintendo in general, is that I see what I'm enjoying, and know I can enjoy with my family as well. Thanks for watching! All the best!

2024 could possibly be the year of Mario, so far we have gotten Mario Vs Donkey Kong Remake and Princess Peach Showtime, we have two upcoming games being Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door Remake and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Remaster. A new Mario Party game is rumored to release due to some codes getting leaked. I have a good feeling that we might get Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 sense there has been a game every four years in the series since the series began back when Beijing 2008 released, we might also get some more remakes. Its just so much that could happen, what do you think?

You're right - as much as we can read the leaves and see which ways the wind is blowing, there's also just a ton that Nintendo might just surprise us with. I do think another Olympics Game port is a no brainer for sure. A new Mario Party would be neat as well! I would personally love to see a new Star Fox or something like that, out of the blue.

This is all true-I enjoy games I can easily jump into and out of. While I objectively appreciate the complexity of some of the brilliant open-world games, folks like you and me... while... it's hard for those games to respect our times. I often play one of those games, finish it, and then can't start another one for quite a long time. I do think AAA publishing is seeing a shift. These giant, expensive games aren't sustainable in terms of how many there are-quite frankly, many are too long. As things shift, smaller, more innovative games will most likely rise to the top. Less is often more.

I'll add, I do think a game like Xenoblade, that is quite big, does priortizie the action part a lot. Which I think leads to a great flow of systems and designs. If the story is good alongside the ride, I'm a happy guy haha

I'm definitely not against that at all. I'm just curious about Nintendo's desire to do that series since Capcom had a big hand in them... But that's not reason enough for it not to happen. And we know Capcom and Nintendo are pretty close. Either way, it would be great to see another game in the style of that Link's Awakening remake! I got to see the exhibit for it at E3 2019 and it was a peak moment! 😂

Definitely not excited for anything switch my announce for this year. They will definitely go for titles like Zelda remaster, Metroid prime 2, and Kirby. If Zelda wind waker will be sold separately then I might get it. Also if Nintendo releases f zero gx remaster. A game I would buy on day one super underrated would be a custom robo GameCube port on switch.

Oh man, custom robo! That game was a ton of fun! I support that haha 🤣 And while I used a twin pack box set for the potential Zelda ports on the thumbnail, I do think they'll be sold separately. Wind Waker is still a GOAT in my eyes. And overall, it's def the swan song for the Switch. So they'll be trying to generate as much excitement as they can, while still ensuring the Switch 2 launches with some truly exciting new games!

If they only show the normal junk (remasters of old games) and indies it's not gonna go well. If they bring out more things like Mario kart dlc or animal crossing dlc or surprise us with something good then maybe. Otherwise yeah switch is dead for now
