I agree except a couple small changes to the game would be nice. I like the game more than botw and totk and wind waker, but the padding at the end of the game I could do without. The last temple doesnt feel quite long enough and the sky temple is pretty much universally considered to be very mid.

Minish Cap was my first Zelda game. If they remake it however I hope they streamline some parts of the game like the awful figurine gacha and some of the more confusing gemstone puzzles. I remember being stuck after the 3rd dungeon because I had no idea where to go, but the answer was that I had to do some obscure gemstone trade to unlock the next dungeon.

I think we’ll get WW and TP this year, and then an Oot remake as a first year title for the switch 2. I think the WW/TP ports were planned for last year, but since Totk got delayed to 2023, they got delayed to 2024.

Just imagine: The Legend of Zelda: Oracles of Time A Trilogy of games which includes the original two oracle games remastered for the switch as well as a 3rd new game Oracle Of Secrets. Completing seasons will unlock a main menu combat challenges, completing ages will unlock puzzle challenges, and completing secrets will unlock hidden side quests, unique power rings, and the ability to replay dungeons/rebattle bosses.

Yeah, individual true remasters of those games are far more likely than mere HD ports for the second time since that's exactly what happened with Metroid Prime when people were expecting the whole trilogy again. But that's if we ever even get re-releases of those two games at all.

Or they will be on the switch 2 because nintendo cant seem to do anything other than 100% safe ideas these days with their major IPs, and theres only so many of them that they can push to get good sales numbers. Saving it for the switch 2 makes sense, because fans have been begging for it for years, it'll be yet one more reason to buy the new console and not wait, as many are likely to do in this economy.

Personally I'd like to see a 3D remake of A Link to the Past. Using BotW/TofK graphics. Bring back the old items and dungeons, and for this to work they would have to remove the 'climb anywhere' mechanic, otherwise death mountain would be way too easy. But imagine the possibilities of remaking that! what they could add, like cutscenes, larger towns, gorons. And seeing the pyramid in the dark world, they could even add the original game so you have both to play. AND BEING TURNED INTO A PINK BUNNY . . . . IN 3D! God I hope they remake it some day.

I grew up on 2D Zelda and just recently played through A link between worlds for the first time and it brought me back to my childhood with links awakening and oracle of seasons and ages and a link to the past. They did such a good job with that game. I really really hope they do make more 2D Zelda game. I just bought a switch this week for the first time and am excited to play through the seasons games and minish cap again as it's been many many years.

It'd be risky, but personally I'd like to see full "reimaginings" of at least OoT and WW, because they had such cool cut content. OoT with the scrapped time mechanic and usable medallions, and Wind Waker with the explorable land of Hyrule and intact Great Fish Isle + it's Dungeon. I'm not sure what cut content TP had, but I could see it being reworked to better establish Zant.

Lol hate to break it to you, but that's like very low on priority for the fanbase. Besides the fact that many other remakes are wanted more, the DS games are still looked down upon by many all these years later. Plus the games are just quite difficult to port. Many would call for the stylus controls to be removed, and at that point, what's even the purpose of bringing them back?

I know this comment is nothing new, but I personally want 4 remakes. Twilight Princess and Wind Waker (as someone who never owned a GameCube or Wii, I barely played either of these but definitely want to play them and beat them) and Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask (2 of my favorites and my personal favorite zelda era). I would absolutely love to see updated graphics for N64 remakes similar to what we've all seen in the Unreal Engine remake videos. I want them to keep expanding and doing new things with new titles though. And while I know this is an unpopular option, I think BOTW and TOTK are hugely overrated. Not that they aren't great games, because they are. And they introduced some excellent game mechanics to the series, but IMO the loss of true dungeons with distinct personalities and enemies is a huge loss, as was the way the narrative was handled in those titles. While there were many great aspects of those games, they also lacked much of what makes the LoZ series special. I want them to move on from that era and discover something new, but also bring back real dungeons and distinctions between areas, and the lore that goes along with it

If I could request any NEW Zelda game it would be a Twilight Princess sequel where Link goes on quest in a foreign land (possibly including Termina, would be a nice touch) to acquire the means to make a new Mirror of Twilight (maybe even have no larger world ending threat / bigger quest than that, would be a nice change of pace, after all it would be a VERY big deal to Link. A large/difficult, but personal quest instead of a grand heroic one). Say have him get robbed early on, if not at the beginning, to reasonably lose his items. Then have him reacquire them (and new ones) on his quest. With the ending being him opening the portal, and leaving us to imagine their reunion, (possibly after credits showing Midna on her throne stand up in surprise eyes bugging, out then say "LINK?").

I mean, my own obvious bias aside (😁) it is a Fantastic game. Not the total peak of the series but definitely a major push for the ''Do everything'' new-age Zeldas and a huge leap over Botw. I recently dipped back into Skyward Sword and 1 or 2 of the older 2D games and well, I simply got bored _really_ fast (esp in Skyward.) I digress with what many of the online comments say: I think the size of the World _does_ matter. You feel well-travelled for one.

With the success of the Link's Awakening remake on the switch, it is very hard to believe that they are not working on the Oracle games in the same engine. Definitely see them being released as a Box set, possibly with the 3rd game that didn't make it in the original release. That 3rd game inclusion would be the big "Remade these games, but wait, there's more" to drive sales.

Let's face the truth. Nintendo can easily sell Wind Waker for € and I think it would even be fair if they put in some major update. Maybe even another dungeon instead of the triforce quest. Wind Waker doesn't benefit from the extra graphics power of the Switch 2, unlike Twilight Princess. The game has a realistic art style and could be a graphics demo for the Switch 2.

For an In-between new zelda game, I'd love a Twilight Princess remake, which was my favorite. For the next new game, what I would like an even more rich story. Similarly to GoW 2018. Also, If the devs could add more enemies, itd be awesome. A game difficulty system would also be sharp. If I could ask for any Zelda game to be reworked/remade, It would be Wind Waker. I would not change the art, or story (at least not much on the story), but I would change the world, specifically make it bigger. I would increase the size of the ocean, and make the islands bigger (big enough to believably sustain life, which was always a problem for me in the original). The sea would be at least the size of the BOTW/TOTK map, and the Islands (at least the occupied ones namely Outset, Dragon-Roost, and Windfall) would be the size of the Great Plateau. Also I would add Zora back in (because lets face it fish people evolving into bird people after their world was FLOODED WITH WATER was stupid as hell). I'd rewrite the Rito's origin most likely as Gerudo, or a branch there of. After all they do tend to have darker skin, and/or red hair just like the Gerudo. (Maybe a Gerudo/Zora hybrid race that emerged after the flood, which make sense as the Gerudo had no men, or boats / boat making / sailing skills to find them, while Zora would have no trouble traveling in a world of water. And thus would likely be the Gerudo's only option for mates until they, or the Hylians built good enough boats, and developed the skills to sail them across to the nearest occupied island). Also I would add more proper dungeons, (and possibly sages) to the game, and story. (For sages I would likely use preexisting minor/background characters, like say Orca Link's sword instructor would be good for one, or the rich man's daughter/thief girl, or one of the pirates, characters like that, and of course new characters could be added).

I love WW and TP, both are such good games. I never really got to play TP, so it getting ported to switch this year would be amazing, give me the chance to enjoy the game in its full glory. Please port it and WW this year to switch Nintendo!!!

I will say nintendo did file a whole new Copywrite/Trademark for Oracle of Seasons recently I've not really seen anyone cover it. I know they do these things all the time. But normally they just renew the original.

Well, my take on it is to bring the N64/3ds Zelda titles(ocrania of time, Majorias Mask) to Switch properly and not an online server app. All we know is that they could do a collection of Ocrania of Time, Majorias Mask, and Twilght princess collection like they did with Mario. I think Wind waker would be a separate and full prize because it's a unique Zelda game. But if I wanted to play wind waker or twilight princess, I could just hook up my Wii U. I just want them to remaster the link to the past, to be honest. That's my favorite.

If hypothetically the OoT remake is in the works, I don't see a teaser this year. Perhaps we could possibly see Wind Waker and Twilight Princess come later this year and maybe 2D Zelda next year. Who's to say but will just have to wait till Nintendo officially confirms something Zelda related in the future.

I would like a new Hyrule Warriors that takes place during a war from the older games. Like the Interloper War with the Twili, or the original Imprisoning War in the downfall timeline. I also think they should start making canon stories to connect the universe better.

Maybe there can be a Hyrule Warriors game for the Switch that is based on Tears of the Kingdom.
