Not just death but stoning, filleting, crucifixion - people will lie to get out of torture NEVER will some one lie to receive torture

That student is using the most probability reliant scenarios just to try and dismantle Christianity. It's depressing that people will go to such lengths to deny the truth. I hope he turns to Christ and repents. Great video man! Keep it up!👍🙏

Yup! We can't live life by saying "Well it's possible this happened.." One must ask what is plausible and best explains what happened. However, this generation would take any lousy answer to reject Jesus. Thank you for your support! 😁

@@rationalchristianfaithby your logic, any Muslim jihad that dies for their religion proves Islam to be true? You sure about this position?
@markrijeger97717 күн бұрын
The reason why we atheists would take any other plausible explanation even if it's unlikely, is because the alternative is that much more unlikely. The alternative is that Jesus rose from the dead, something that has never happened before and cannot happen according to the laws of nature. Any explanation that has a probability of being true based on evidence from previous occurences is more likely than the explanation of a dead guy coming back to life who is the son of god.

@@rationalchristianfaith And yet you would reject miracles from other faiths? People have died for many other faiths. People have claimed to see miracles occur. Many other religions have had rapid growth. And not just anonymous accounts from 2000 years ago. There are hundreds if not thousands of people alive today who claim to have witnesssed sathyi sai baba's miracles. Even worse, you think the most plausible thing is something we have no idea is even possible? (a resurrection) It's like some-one seeing a fire and claiming a dragon did it and dismissing all other more natural possibilities. For example, what's more plausible? A woman having a baby from a god, or a woman lying about where her baby comes from? There's stories about women having Gods babies all over mythology. Clearly it's happening everywhere or....

Pulling a theory out of your bottom doesn’t make it right just because the other side doesn’t have one…

@aardern2609 I can say that a theory is not convincing or wrong even without a counter theory Also the theory that he is putting forward isn’t historically backed as it seems to me that he is saying that the spread of Christianity is because the resurrection happened, while the only thing that is historically backed is that people believed it happened AND it was compelling as a religion

@@gabrielecamilli3574 A theory with atleast 1 argument is better than a theory with 0. And the argument is simple, people were tortured and died for what they said they saw (apostles and others). At any moment they could've said "wait, actually I lied" to avoid crucifixion but they did'nt.

@ not true at all, a bad answer is worst than no answer, just look at aristotelic science. Having an answer hindered the truth for more than a millennium But if you want an alternative theory, they were convinced by a good speaker, they were superstitious fisherman, Jesus was a very charismatic preacher People died for all sort of false ideologies Martyrdom is not a proof of correctness of the ideology

Jim Jones also performed miracles, gathered a following and then many more people unalived themselves on his order. (even their babies). So clearly it's very possible to convince people deeply enough to give their life for the cause (and that was on a much larger scale). If what convinces you is people's willingness to unalive themselves, then surely we should all convert to him?

Jesus does not know the hour only God knows the hour - (Matthew 24:36). Only Allah knows the hour - (Quran 7:187). Jesus is not God because God knows everything - (1 John 3:20 and Quran 31:34). And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent - (John 17:3). In John 17:3 it is clear that Jesus Christ is not God. Prophet Jesus said God is greater than him - (John 14:28). Bible verses where it is mentioned that prophet Jesus worshipped God - Matthew 26:39 Luke 6:12 Luke 22:42, etc.

Piece of advice 😂 follow Sam Shamoun, God Logic and inspiring philosophy. Also Jesus was called Lord and God by Thomas. Jesus claimed he could forgive sins something only God can do. The reason why Jesus said he didn't know the hour, is because the hour is known by Christians to be his marriage. In Jewish tradition the father, not the son announces the marriage. Also your Quran doesn't address Allah as the father genius 😂, you can only be slaves /servants to him, meaning he ain't referring to the same deity as yours
