Namaskar. Sree Iyerji, TTD is the richest temple in India They have got lots of Space. Now, they say they have got 500 cows. They can add up to 50000 60000 or may be enough cows to meet out their ghee demand. The Goshala will not only provide employment to many ( ensure only hindus are employed ). They csn have enough veterinarians to check the cows health status. A pucca quality control lab inside the TTD itself with latest milk and milk products butter ghee etc testing facilities with well trained technical staff..

I’ve lived abroad in more than a couple of countries, I’m definitely not suggesting that Muslims and Christian’s do not have sub divisions. There’s plenty on divisions, however my concern is about Sanatana’s, the day when Hindus identify themselves as a Sanatani instead of a Reddy, Brahmin, Nadar etc things will change. Same with Bharat as a nation, Indians tend to focus on the fact that I’m a Tamilian, Gujarati etc instead of I’m an Indian. Nationalism has to be invoked, divisions have to be sorted that’s all.

Most housewives in India will test the ghee they use by seeing that it is not solid and by smelling. ❤why not install an advanced well designed fully mechanised automatic advanced plants with different sections, from boiling all cows milk, take away only butter, convert it to unadulterated ghee, send this to the next plant, to automatically prepare "" Tirupathi Laddu"" of the present size, mechanically, non touch technique, and deliver the final products in Andaas, for direct shifting to the Sannidhi for Neivedyam, deliver it to the exit gate to offer only one laddu for each pilgrim free of cost as ""Neivedyam Sample"". No sales in outside areas anywhere in TTD areas !!!

I think the laddu making or and food making process for the temples has to change drastically. The chefs must be fully clothed, head/hair must be netted, hands must be gloved. Lower half of the face must be masked. Any food preparation must be under utmost hygienic conditions. Gone are the days where the food prepares can cook with their upper torso bare, or sit on the floor and roll the laddus. Work surfaces have to be provided which are 3 feet above the ground. Then there are other parameters about the quality checks of ingredients used, clean containers to box them and keep covered, dating the product etc. No unauthorized people should be allowed in the kitchen. Rules to keep the kitchen clinically clean must be laid down. The whole process of food preparation in the temple has to be overhauled. Strict and stringent rules should be there.

Yesterday a TV news channel reported that there was some kind of leniency redone in the TTD ghee tender notice wherein the bidders annual turnover was reduced from 240cr to 150 cr, and that's how certain bidders were favoured. This whole thing is nothing but a political gimmick of vendetta. Hope good sense prevail amongst these leaders.

The Indian scientist who eon the nobel physics was Dr Raman...for his work on Raman spectrography. A non invasive method used for various science and health applications. Even up to the measurement of various gas in planets far away. In India we seldom cherish his efforts. Sree Iyerji, I had once an opportunity to meet some people from veterinary hospital in KA. This is very closely connected with ghee because these kind of hospitals are forefront of cattle care (cow, bull, ...etc.) And I was told over a discussion regarding quality is that generally the government dairies like KMF, Amul (cooperative society) HAVE to adhere to very strict INTERNATIONAL standards and as a result their products are very very reliable w.r.t food safety. While this reason is not know to many but these kind of organizations have not failed its consumers. And this is the reason why many trust these brands so blindly.

While every care is taken in the procurement process, including stringent conditions of supply, testing especially in food items, once the contract is bagged suppliers as well as end users become lethargic in checking the inventory recieved as specified in the tender conditions. Here the frequency of sampling and other sampling criteria need to be checked in order to maintain the quality throughout the chain. The source of procurement of base materials by the contractor is very important which need to be verified regularly

Sometime back during a discussion with a local caterer, he told me that you would get good sweets at Rs 300/kg or as low as Rs 70/kg. The costlier ghee is obtained through the traditional process while the cheaper one is obtained from slaughter houses from the dead animals' udder. He also added that they will not differ in taste however will latter will start producing a foul smell in a few days. I donot know how far its true in this case.

Namaskaram Sir, I don’t understand why TTD do not produce the ghee by themselves since it very special to Tirumala. Even the testing lab. Money is not a problem for them. I find this bizarre because they have been negligent about it and all should be punished. TTD board and and state government

Mr. Iyer ghee procurement was not outsourced in 2014. It was already procured from oitside suppliers. Only the tender process was changed to e-tender to improve transparency . It was Mr. Naidu who started the process of publishing all TTD resolutions on TTD website to improve transparency. Know the facts before pontificating.🙏

You have hit the nail on the head. If you say pilgrims were complaining about the ladoos, which were presumably smelling, you mean to say that the hundreds of people making the ladoos had their olfactory (noses) system blocked. First responsibility rests with them not IAS persons in their offices depending on feedback from the ladoo makers

2 or 3 months back a famous ghee company was caght redhanded in mixing lots of other things in their ghee, and this was from a company in Rajasthan. The name was so popular that every good sweet / savory shop always ordered ghee from this company. A few days it was big news in every channel, then it just died away like other serious issues. Even the Nandini milk which we have been buying for so many years had a slight pinksh look to it, and the next day my husband said he saw a lady bringing a box full of the same milk to the shop complaining about the pinkish color. It could have been blood of the cows mixed with the milk as we all should know that a slight amount of blood getting into the milk is quite common as it cannot be avoided (certain percentage) The cows are lined up and mechanicallly milked, many times they are left with lot of pain as the worker in charge has forgotten to switch off the machine. How awful it is such things are allowed to happen, and we are left unaware of all these nonsense. What happened to the Pinkish milk, did KMF get informed about it, what action have they taken, nobody knows. All one can do is to cut the packet of milk with breath held and praying it looks alright. Nothing is pure in this world even the best companies have secrets to hide. If you don't believe what I have said regarding not switching off the milking process you can google and watch the videos taken without the knowlege of the owners of that company.

It’s the need of the hour for all Hindus to set up various GOSALA exclusively with Desi Coed and Locally produced animal feedstock to cater the needs of all Hindu temples across the country. It’s a very huge market for such pure DESI COW GHEE & DESI COW MILK for Abhishekam and for Panchamrutam. Why don’t big companies like ITC and Reliance start such across the country? This will help local farmers too. It’s huge market either way 100% assurance of Profit.

Sri Iyerji, leave alone adulteration of cow ghee, how do you know buffalo ghee or jersey cow ghee is not mixed. The purest medicated form of desi cow ghee is available with goshalas only which has medicinal value. The minimum cost of goshala cow ghee is Rs 1600/ kg. All temples in india should use such cow ghee only. With this act, the goshalas will have income to feed cows instead of depending on charities. No dairy can supply desi ghee at 600/ kg even Amul because adulteration of milk can occur at procurement stage with buffalo milk or jersey cow milk which cannot be checked. Further tendering system for all temple procurements should be stopped as this paves way for adulteration. Almost all temples in AP procure through tendering encouraging adulteration by suppliers. In the olden days , kings used to oversee supplies and maintain purity of temples. Present day democratic system is not suitable to run temples, only way out is every state should have Trusts, who can run the temples as per shastras.
