Another fun fact about this matchup is that Rome Odunze and Jaylen Polk were teammates in college before they were drafted by these 2 teams. It's going to be interesting to see if Polk can get out of his slump for this game to show up Odunze

That's never gonna happen. If Odunze was a Patriot, we'd be a LT , and some Oline depth away from being solid on offense. We could still use a speedy wr for depth and development, but maybe Boutte is that guy. Polk is a poor man's Tee Higgens. He is simply not an X WR. If we had any of Allen, Moore or Odunze, they'd be starting for us. Odunze is head and shoulders above Polk; a young Amari Cooper.

We have to go Tetoria McMillan we need a #1 receiver now is the time to get him

If Wolf can pull off T. Hunter and Tetairoa McMillan, that would be sweet. Hunter plays a ton of corner, so McMillan would be a nice addition .

@leafygreen2799 Don't see what the hell is funny and impossible. It's called being a GM in the NFL and making moves in your position to make things like that happen. Look, I understand you haven't been watching football long, and don't know s*** about the game, so please stop engaging in adult conversations 👍🏻

@@leafygreen2799 as unlikely as it is, if the patriots get the 1st or 2nd pick, that’s Hunter pretty much. Then they can do what the Texans did 2 years ago and trade their future 1st and a 4th for a top 5 pick. Essentially your banking on someone viewing next draft as more talent rich and not loving any top 5 prospects as well as being so enamored with a player in this draft your okay with not drafting in the first round next year

Caleb is going to have to overcome his lack of size. He’s got a dynamic arm and he’s a good athlete but he’s 6’1” at best. Size matters, it will never not matter in damn near everything.

This draft is weak overall and the Pats need a large influx of talent at key positions. If Elliot thinks he can be patient and build mostly through the draft he and Mayo will be gone after this year. He is going to have to learn quickly how to close deals with free agents that aren’t his own players or have ties to Cleveland. His job should be a little easier with Maye in place but he has to understand he needs to overcome the 3 taxes. 1. NE is no longer a destination 2. Location 3. Millionaire state taxes. Not only does he need to sign talent but he also has to consider culture and Mayo needs to get his shit together with the media and on the sidelines and portray he is in control of this ship. Do you feel confident they can do all of this??

I think Will Campbell and Emeka Egbuka can address both needs. I'm not enamored of the WR or LT class. We could go Luther Burden III and Felix Carmona and be just fine going forward.

Agree with Dane Brugler, if Patriots have 1st pick in 2025 NFL Draft, that CB/WR Travis Hunter Colorado 6'1" 185 is the Patriots pick. Starting Travis Hunter at CB and having him play 10 to 15 plays at WR each week. Then pick a Offensive Tackle at the top of the 2nd round.
@cityboyjuice
@cityboyjuice Ай бұрын
That’s not how the nfl works players are position locked (example Edelman enter the draft as a corner but transition to receiver). I would suggest trading back the picks because they’ll get more picks and draft Will Campbell Lt and Donovan Jackson RG. Hunter honestly hasn’t played much talent in Colorado
@flyingelvis8850
@flyingelvis8850 Ай бұрын
@cityboyjuice Sorry, but I'm far more intelligent than you on the NFL Draft. Ex. LSU Left Tackle Campbell has 32" arms. This means Campbell is a Guard in the NFL. Travis Hunter is rated the number one player in the 2025 NFL draft by everyone and by a large margin. Your comment means you obviously do not know how the NFL works. Wow?!

@@flyingelvis8850 where are you getting your information from? I’m assuming off the internet and not to hurt your ego but you don’t even know who I am to say you know anything. And will Johnson is consider the best corner and McMillan is the best receiver

@@cityboyjuice If you actually watched this video they specifically say that all NFL teams are red flagging will Campbell because he has 32 inch arms and at the combine they're going to test his arms and if it's above 33 inches then they would consider him a tackle but if it's below 33 inches they would consider him at guardit's funny you ask where he's getting the information you literally just have to watch the video you're commenting on they talk about that in the latter half of the video I'm guessing you're one of these guys who watches the first half of videos then goes straight to the comments section before actually watching the whole video
@cityboyjuice

@@jamesstewart3285 if you understood what was said then you would’ve saved the comment and time. What I said about the information because of the simple fact that someone is saying they know more and all they’re doing is reciting information they’ve heard. I’ve watched the video and I don’t think people are actually considering how terrible the line is. To be considered doesn’t mean true another example Bryce young was consider the best qb in his draft as well as Caleb Williams. And unlike internet scouts it’s my job to actually watch and look at player performance and tendencies. I’m just not on social media making KZbin videos instead I travel and work direct

Jayden Daniels outplayed Caleb by miles in that game. It wasn’t close. The score was because of a TD called back and a dropped TD but Jayden outplayed Caleb easily. How do you tell someone you didn’t watch the game without telling them you didn’t watch the game lol. Love Phil!

Travis Hunter would bring a closer and clutch element to both sides of the ball that would be great to pair with Drake-O. Plus some top end talent which we desperately need. How about the excitement element as well for ownership. Phil you’re the man!!

Shadeur Sanders is a better QB prospect than Ward. Travis Hunter should be our pick. LT for the 2nd rnd.

Shadeur Sanders has a average arm. Ward is more dynamic and has a higher ceiling. They're the top 2 QB's in the 2025 NFL draft. I wouldn't draft either in the top 20 picks. But both will go in the Top 10 picks. Maybe top 5.
