Beppe, I think we shouldn’t be disappointed with Cambiasso right now. Last month he was saying Juve is his Real M then out of sudden he is not preforming, willing to leave and not even showing up in the stadium. Vlahovic was at least trying and pushing, now he is done, gone by all means. Danilo was thrown out. There is something wrong between the players, coach and Giuntoli.

Blame all around. Gatti looks totally gassed. It was a mistake to put Rugani and Danilo out of project because we knew we had a lot of games on the schedule and we would need rotational players. Motta could have helped by going to a 3 man defense since he had more than enough midfielders to stack the center of the park. IMO we are losing more aerial duels because our roster has gotten smaller and less physical. It is very frustrating to see guys sending long balls to Conceicao who will never be able to win them. Finally regardless of injuries and roster it is now February and they look like the same disorganized mess that they did last summer. Whatever project this is supposed to be I don’t see it reflected on the field.

They dont know to control it, dont know how to pass cant win duels cant score cant defend, and dont even have strategy... so yeah we need players and not people who played football all their life and still invalids

We might not have the best squad in Seria A, but the fact is that this team is horribly underpreformning. We have invested a lot of money and brought in a lot of new players. Many of them preformed greatly just season ago, Koopmeiners and Luiz. Suddenly entire team is playing horribly and our team is unrecognizable everywhere. This is not only Mottas problem but it has a lot to do with him. He must find a way to get better out of this team. Completely agree. Not only Motta but it’s his job to find a solution. Remember the friendly games before season start. We played the same as we are playing now. We hoped it will all work out when everybody adapts but half of season after, we play the same as we did when Motta was 2 weeks at the club. He is doing nothing. At least nothing good. Money is a factor. Especially for Juve after the last couple of years. Its a young team, with one of our best players injured. With some calma I believe that the future can be great. Gatti won some important duels many defenders wouldn't win yesterday. Dusan got one good pass from Weston (where Kenan had a shot). The kind of pass he got one time from Koop once in the fall. Dusan isn't benefiting from the hold the ball playstyle. Neither would Gyökeres. Maybe Kolo Muani could. I will not blame Juve for selling in the last days. The project have to be sustainable. But the players have to start to believe in them self and aiming to win every duel, and celebrating as Chiellini. Let Chiellini come down to the training the coming days and lets grow some confidence. Fino alla fine!

How many more points would we have with Bremer healthy? I think at least 4 draws of the 13 are wins. That’s 8 more points than we have now, which would put us in 4th with 45 points (+6 on Lazio). It’s terrible luck. I want to see Thiago Motta with an actual defense. This isn’t a fair judgment of him IMO. His defense at Bologna was BETTER than our current defense. Buffon said in an interview that when he returned from PSG the team culture had changed at Juve. The Juve spirit (giving everything for the shirt) had changed more towards individualism and it wasn’t the same team anymore. We all know what happened in the summer of 2018 and I believe because of it we lost our identity that made us so great. I also think some players of the current team are more individual than team players and should be gotten rid of as soon as possible. I’m almost sure that Vlahovic and Douglas Luiz will be out the team if not this mercato then in the summer. They just aren’t Juve type players. And Gatti isn’t a starter level player. I’ve never seen an italian cb who’s played for the national team who can’t man mark in the box or anywhere near it. He’ll also propably be sold in the summer. Someone would say he should’ve been sold last summer instead of Huijsen… Overall I think we’re moving in the right direction. We just need a couple players that fit the way Motta wants to play.

I agree with most of what you said, but you contradict yourself with respect to Gatti. He is not a bad player and is the consummate team player who bleeds the black and white. I think they should keep him like I also thought they should have kept Rugani. We play a many games and need these role players who care about the team. Additionally, I was not a fan of getting CR7 in 2018. I thought it was a huge mistake. There is a reason why Portugal won the European cup in 2016 and it had to do with Ronaldo getting hurt and the team actually having to play as a team instead of focusing on him.

I'm definitely not blaming you Beppe! We'll come good, Benfica were a pretty good side and needed to win, we seemed to lack some motivation. I am no expert however Juventus have built great teams gradually whilst keeping players who know what it means to wear the shirt. Where are the leaders in this current team? In 2011,at the beginning of the last cycle we had Buffon, Chiellini, Del Piero etc who could teach others what it means to be at Juve. I can't think of a time when we have had such a revolution before. The grinta seems to be missing at the moment. In 40 years of supporting this incredible club I have seen many highs and lows, we will be back 👍🏼

Motta is ONE of the guilty parties. But it’s not all his fault. His biggest fault is that he is a terrible motivator. This young team needs a good motivator and sadly Motta is not delivering on that front. I’m sure, given the number of injuries we have had, even Conte would have struggled. Napoli’s second half performance against us, was not due to technical superiority. It was due to motivational talk that Conte gave his team.
