My personal favorite thing you do, the real "hidden gems." Land of Bad is pretty good, not perfect on the tactical stuff but has some that surprised me for the "that's how it's done" stuff. And I was SO happy to see The Hudsucker Proxy show up, saw it when it first came out, really packed cast. I'm looking forward to Catcher Was a Spy, I've heard about the story it's based on. And Senna... really looking forward to that.

I was wondering if you've mentioned "One More Shot" with Scott Adkins. Action packed, and while it _migjht_ just be well stitched, there's what appears to be an insanely long one-shot through the action at the airport.

I've watched Maharaja in the early days of its release and was presented with a surprising screenplay and a hardhitting story. The main Actors for the film are great in their previous works in a different role and seeing them go all out with the storytelling of this movie is amazing. The movie also has some hidden details in the background that predicts the way that the characters end through the story.

Medal of Honor is another netflix doc series that doesn't get a lot of love I think. It profiles different Medal of Honor recipients throughout history. 3 from WW2, 2 from the Korean War, one from Vietnam and 2 from Afghanistan, principally the Battle of Outpost Keating. That battle itself was turned into film called The Outpost and is on netflix itself.

Thank you for pointing out Valhalla Rising. Great movie. Saw it in the theater when it came out. Your view is spot on. I’m sorry to disagree, at least partially, with your thoughts on Catcher was a Spy. I read the book. About 10% of the movie is true. They took small kernels of Moe Berg’s story and turned them into a movie. (The Heisenberg storyline was completely imagined. Berg’s only connection was to attend a speech he made and report back.) And I have to think they could’ve found somebody who would’ve played the part better than Paul Rudd. He’s talented, so perhaps I held the bar too high for him.

The boring thing about Netflix when you live in Sweden like I do. We pay the most per month for Netflix ($12.90) and yet we have the worst selection. Like now Senna from 2010, we can't see it in Sweden and neither can Land of Bad. Been several times where people have suggested films or series that we in Sweden never get to see.
