This guy has the gnarliest kickflips! And regarding the shoe: I picked these up from my local skate shop and they're not bad but the only problem is the feel reaaaally weird. They claim to be based of the Reynolds cruisers but I skated those in the past (best emerica shoe IMO) and they feel completely different. The shoe is constructed great but they contrary to other peoples experiences they feel really wide to me and they haven't broken in even though I've been running them for a week.

Mine fell apart in a month. The glue keeping the sole connected to the rest of the shoe just wasn't good enough. Barely got to use them

I'll give my honest opinion here. This shoe was good, for the time that it lasted. The grip was awesome and I felt I could flick tricks much better. They broke in super fast and the sole didn't break through at all. However, I only had the shoe for two weeks before it just died. The flicking area on my pair went so fast that I found myself shoe goo-ing them every other night until they would blow open again. All the stitching on the side blew completely within the first few days and even the stitching in the heelflip area went (I don't do many heelflips) some other cons were the fact that the insoles don't protect you at all. I actually put Vans Ultra Cush in them because it was so bad. I rate this shoe 6.5 out of 10. If you are in the market to buy new skate shoes, and are interested in Emerica, check out the (new, fuck the old ones.) Romero Laced or the Reynolds. Hoped this helped anyone!

My biggest complaint was how narrow the shoe was. I wear a size 7 and they fit a little narrow and snug on the sides. The shoe fits true to size in terms of length. The narrowness of the shoe was a problem for me cuz putting in my own insoles was not possible. Which sucked cuz the original insoles suck and my feet would hurt. The sides with the mesh area for air flow ripped in like two days. The outsoles of the shoe where durable and grippy. The triangle pads on the bottom were awesome. They definitely aren't a gimmick. They lasted longer when I would stop to foot brake on the heel and toe and the primo area really help. I'd rate the shoe a 7 mostly cuz again of the narrowness of the shoe.

Do these shoes have straps on the inside atached to the tung? And is the heel wide ?

yes they do have straps that attach to the tung. The shoe is a very narrow long shoe. Nothing is wide on the shoe, so if you have wide feet you might want to consider getting a half size up.

yeah they are narrow, they are almost like wearing a pair of Vans in terms of shape and style. Just much more comfortable and durable.

These shoes do NOT hold up well. The outsole is garbage. The grip barely, you know, grips (used with new and old griptape). Let's talk about features that should have been ace but were fucked up: comfort (little to none), fit (awkward, semi-wide fit that doesn't fit well to the foot -- leading to a higher chance for an ankle roll), and a paper thin insole. This shoe reminds me much more of a Reynolds 3/Cruiser hybrid with none of the features that made them great shoes. By far - The Provost is the worst vulcanized Emerica shoe that I have skated.
