So i cleaned the visor and the pin lock in very mild washing up and water. Here is the thing I was riding soon after so I dried it well pat dried it with kitchen ROLL! Bollocks the pin lock is well scratched! and the visor is OK but still has these small annoying in your eye line scratches....

never wash or wipe even with a dry cloth a pinlock lense .. super delicate

Hi Paul I have just bought a brand new Shoei Neotec less than 1 month old. I have just rode to Croatia with it and on the first 1,000 miles we had a lot of rain to my dislike it leaked rain through the top of the visor NOT GOOD on the german autobahn i had to stop at one part to remove the visor and dry the rain with my hanky!

Anyway after getting home 3,500 miles i decided to try and tweak the seal after reading the manual going to 2 Shoei UK dealers who had no idea how to help me! but could both sell me Shoei lids!! I then remove dthe pin lock as i noticed what i thought a scratch on the inside of the visor, this turn out to be some tiny scratches on the front of the visor! Don't know how cos its been in helmet bag and well looked after!

Hi Paul Please read in reverse order to understand thanks.. PS.... Sometimes the top air vent is GREAT wind rushes through my forehead! but on most occasions I cant feel anything? WHY???? The vent is fully open the front vent open and the rear vent open but no air rushes through?

My GT Air is exactly the same. I'm sure Shoei are considering your question so remain patient and wait a few more years for a response.

American shoei is some of the worst customer service! I have had 7 of them every one of the disintegrated the strap pads and top of head. Both broke down the the tech said it was my fault. But my Icon wic h is 10 years old still feels great.
