This shoe cleaning is done by Francisco. He is 48 years old and has been a shoe shiner in Mexico City for 24 years.
Francisco's shoe shine chair is located in the beautiful park of Santa María la Ribera. The Park is always full of activity: people walking their dogs, dancing, or even reading a book, etc. Many people visit the very famous kiosk/gazebo called Kiosco Morisco to observe and take pictures of the unique structure.

i had dozens of DM's and we used Tuxan renovating red polish it was a soft cream rather than solid polish it was amazing and it was a ritual to shine the boots prior to going out

Doc Marten shoes were created by a German retired soldier, who had injured a foot in an accident. He couldn't find anything that was comfortable, so he came up with a very sturdy supportive upper, coupled with a VERY sturdy, stable outer sole. The foot bones and joints are protected and supported. Anyone who worked in jobs that kept them on their feet loved the shoes. It was only later that the shoes picked up a negative vibe by becoming the shoe of choice of some very bad people.

I love Dr matens. They look amazing for 10 years old. I have mary Jane style dr martens I wear at work and they are 3 or 4 years old with hardly any wear on the sole. Don't know what the soles are made of but they sure do last. Pricy but worth it.
