were the air ships ever released in pub? it sounds like it since you said there were multiple colors including the black/red which jordan wore, and i have seen white/red colorway pics and all white but i cant seem to find the other colors, any boxes of the shoe, released date or where they have been sold. can you still get air ships? they seem really comfortable and i would really like a pair and it seems people are looking forward for nike to make a retro version but i would really like an actual pair of nike airs to be made as any other shoe being made if they are still in production. if so can anyone tell me where i can get Nike Air Ships?

Technically, it wasn't the shoe that Nike banned, it was the colorway. They banned the Airship because of the Black/Red color. It didn't have any White in it which according to NBA standards at the time, was banned. If he had showed up the next night with the Black/Red AJ1 it still would have been banned. So in reality it wasn't any specific shoe that was banned like everyone keeps debating about, it was the colorway that was banned.
