Trying to understand - at 4:09, why did you drop the pawn to 3-5? And why didn't your opponent capture it with his Silver?

Thanks for asking! If the opponent took the pawn, then I will drop the pawn to 3-6. And the opponent has to take the pawn by silver again. After that I will drop the lance to 3-5 to attack bishop. Then the bishop needs to escape to 4-2 or 2-2. The case of 4-2, I can move my bishop to 4-4. The other case of 2-2, I can move my rook to 2-4. For both cases, I can continue attack well by using my bishop or rook. From the reason, the opponent did not take the pawn by silver.

@@shogiramentv64 I see! Using pawn drops as sacrifices to dispace the opponent's pieces is something I need much more practice in. Thanks for the clear explanation, I understand now :)
