Shogun Episodes 1 and 2 Review *NO SPOILERS & SPOILERS*

OK, watched it and LOVE IT. Really looking forward to how all of this plays out. My mom was completely enthralled with the Richard Chamberlain "Shogun" miniseries (which she pronounced "mah-nis-ah-rees" when she first saw the word in print). This version has a different vibe, shall we say. In other business, why am I always in mid-sip of some cold beverage when you go into stand-up comedy mode? The hot dog analogy got me this time.

Read the book twice. 54 hours long. And it's worth every second. The show is incredibly accurate!!! Too bad no one has read the books before watching the show. Best show since Game of Thrones.

Counterpart had a really unique plot (drags in a few places, but definitely worth watching). But the real reason to watch it is J.K. Simmons. He is astoundingly good.
