I like using this grip as a means of sensing the opponents moves. Took the inspiration from Sensei Hal Sharp.

One of my sensei's would talk the armpit grip. He said that's what his sensei used to teach.

In RvL, if you want inside position but the other person gets there first, armpit might offer a second inside grip opportunity instead of having to go outside. What do you think?

I only have a orange belt on judo. And i don't understand moste things on this channel. Arndt i seposte to know this. Im so confused.

I can understand your confusion, but as you said you're (only) orange belt, so you have to build up the foundations of our Judo by assimilating the basics. After a while you'll find this channel most interesting to create new things and upgrade your knowledge and efficiency. Meanwhile a lot of the topics covered by Sensei Shintaro who posted so many videos can already be useful to you right now, just practice the tips you can already understand !
