He is joined here by his lovely and talented wife Morgane, who frequently sings harmony with him. Very talented songwriter, guitar player and vocalist. She encouraged him to sing because earlier in his career he thought himself a better songwriter and guitarist than vocalist and Morgane is so talented in her own right. Chris and Morgane have 5 kids and you can see their love by the way they look at each other on stage. Tennessee Whiskey is the song most people start with even though it is a cover for him.

One of the best things about music is that we all interpret it our own way. Many times I have heard a love song but thought of one of my daughters rather than a lover. I think that what artists want. Whatever it means to you is what they want it to be. This song was recorded to shed light on a certain subject (which you'll find out if you choose to watch the video) but it's really great that you immediately found your own meaning for it and I know that's how many other people hear it as well. Great reaction. 🥰

Chris just has it, IT..Whatever it is, however you describe IT! Obviously elite performer, but also elite writer..yet in a very quick to the point way..but the ability to bring the emotion of what he is singing about may be the most unique talent of his..the true raw emotion. It's just very rare!
