Naruto's ending though was booty. The show had such parody, then they went and made it dragonball z, making every other character krillin, and then bringing in frieza at the end. Like how you gonna hype up the entire world at war, and then have 1 guy hoe them out. They killed off the 2nd hokage cause he was outnumbered by some shuriken ninja, but dead Madara been leveling up from the grave?

Anime usually comes from manga and manga comes from hopeful artists that for the most part have 0 writing skills and therefore the story is just bad. A good example is ppl hate on CSM but the creator actually has a really good understanding in how to tell a compelling story without boring an audience. Edgerunners is also a good example. OP glazers will never understand how a story could be told in even less than 20mins and possibly be better. Time =/= quality

With anime it's usually the writing having no real substance and an over reliance on tropes that do nothing to actually push the plot forward but look cool. I also think anime would be better if the adaptions weren't so loyal to the source material? Most manga just won't make a good live animation/action story. All of the superhero movies/animated series that most people like adapted comic stories with changes that would fit the medium it was being changed to better. I do think the vast majority of anime fans (like 90%) have shit taste though.

Honestly, you can only ask people who have seen EVERY ANIME to judge. That's why my mission is to finish watching One Piece, Bleach, Vinland Saga, One Punch, MHA, Dr. Stone, Tokyo Ghoul, Chainsaw Man, Mob, Seven Deadly Sins, Frieren, etc. I have started watching but, for me, these anime are hard to get into. I've already seen really great YYH, Naruto, Jojo's, HxH, RRH, Dragon Ball, Mashle, Solo Leveling, Black Clover, AoT, JJK, and Demon Slayer. Then there are Bungo Stray Dogs, Boruto, Spy Family, Special mention to Apothecary, Cells at Work, Welcome to Demon School, Iruma Kun, My Happy Marriage,and Ranking of Kings. My point, you can't judge properly until you have fully experienced the anime. I mean, by watching all episodes even the movies, OVA, and fodder episodes. Only then can you be qualified to "judge". Even then, everyone has his/her own taste on anime. It's obvious that most people haven't seen a lot of anime because of their bias. For example, from the final list, Mob Psycho on the S tier is laughable. And MHA should be a C at least. It had potential but ruined it because of excessive details about male obsession with boobs among other problems.

Ranking of kings. I understand you couldn’t put all of them in and it’s all centered on a specific style of anime. Ranking of kings is almost Miyazaki as a series, it gets everything right and can reach such a wide audience even outside of anime fans. The storytelling is well structured and balanced, there’s always something keeping you engaged. The characters are coherent and surprising, you never know exactly who to trust. It really hits all the boxes and has none of the annoying problems that keep coming back again and again in most shonens, those that we just accept now (we know 😅).
