Hall Effects are actually super old, they used to do contactless boards exclusively for high-end applications, because it was the easiest way to get keys not to bind.

as a 65% user who uses Zealios V2's and you're not far off lmao I even have the foam in my KBD67mkII oof (in my defense I had to buy a new PCB at some point after pulling a trace, and I figured I might as well order the foam too) I do own way too many artisans tho, and I see the 65% as a 60% with arrow keys and an artisan column. I also have a Portico 65% with WoB keycaps (they were 20$) and an unbuilt split ergo (Waka60) which I won a prototype of in a contest. Also, 65% without a .25u blocker looks absolutely hideous, unless you use 1.5 u modifiers. Having an uneven bottom row just looks like a nightmare to me, get your 1u bottom row modifiers outta my face. Stepped caps lock is also peak, and while split backspace isn't for me, I respect it. The split spacebar people scare me tho. Also, the lack of mention of Cyrillic, Greek and other sublegends in this video is criminal 😤
