Quite possibly your best combination of film and video to date! Panoramic has been my focus for that last few weeks with two rolls of Porta 800 through the Pentax 67 with the 35mm adapter. With both rolls experienced light leaks so now need to figure out where it happened. Regardless the pano view draws you in and you did a great job of showing this.

I'm not going to pretend I'm a photographer, but I think you should know that you have a talent for capturing idyllic and archetypal scenes and places. Your photos don't just have quality subjects, they feel like they have a time and a place. They make me feel like I'm personally visiting the area the photo was taken and experiencing it, not just viewing someone else's record of it. They invite me into their world. That's really hard to do dude. Keep doing your work and showing it to the world.

Take a look at the Bronica ETR series with the 135W back. You can get very similar results much cheaper.
@robiulahmed4 жыл бұрын
You could also go for a fujifilm gw690- it produces a much bigger negative that can be cropped to that aspect ratio.
@selzzaW4 жыл бұрын
@@robiulahmed Isn't that a fixed lens though? You can also get like 20 shots with a roll of 35mm.
@robiulahmed4 жыл бұрын
@@selzzaW yeah, it's like a 40mm equivalent. They do a wide angle version as well, so you'll have to decide what focal length you prefer and stick with that. Even still, for the price of a TX-1 or Xpan, you could get 2 bodies and a bunch of film. It's not for everyone, though, so it's best to try one out if you can.

That scene with the horses is so good! Those experiences are rare but very beautiful and important. I had a suspicious guy call me out just three days ago for photographing his neighbor's garden. "Hey, you! What is there to take pictures of?" "Apples" "Never seen Apples before? Ha!" "Sure I have!" and then he just buggered off ^^ what he didn't know: just 2 minutes prior the owner of that garden, a lovely old lady, had come up to me and gave me a handful of plums - I dunno why, she didn't even ask what I was doing. I propably looked like someone who needed to eat some plums right now :D
