Love the stress free shooting sometimes no major pre planning like your last video shooting 3 music videos in 3 days. Both still equally rewarding, but sometimes being able to improvise gives greater chance for organic creativity instead of controlling every element.

Nice work Andy. Just watched the final video and great work that you pulled out it in short time. I just have one recommendation. It would have been nice to have another outfit, like white or black dress at lake, during golden hour for slow mo sequences. Nice behind the scenes and great explanations. have a great day mate.

What a lovely result. Good idea to use a mist filter here. I could really feel the flow you guys were having, especially the parts with the hand movements in one long shot. As always, very insightful and interesting to watch. I think you have a very valid point concerning the "less is sometimes" more aspect you have touched upon. I also made a video about G.A.S. in the past and how it has negatively impacted my creativity. Here it's just you, the talent and a lot of creative improvisation, which is such a great thing. Love it like always and can't wait for the next episode!

I don't have much experience in gimbals, I'm still looking for the right one for me. Whenever I see gimbals, I think that I need the transmitter, to track to take shots around the talent... Is it necessary or can it be done in some way, without using tracking? Have you used object tracking in shots like this at 5:24 ? Thanks

It turned out so good :) I like the gimble too. I have an older one of that brand.
Gimbals are overused since they become smooth enough. Everything is only moving, fly-by, pan, zoom, hover ... people forget about content. This video is tasteful, but I soon get seas-sick from all that moving. Gimbal can also be used very greatly for perfect still shots. In the days of Betacam SP cameras (that had 10 kilos), most videographers had that on tripod or on shoulder. I carried camera as baby, lying on my right hand, operating it with left hand. I hat that muscular "male" right hand from it :) But I did slow moves as I was leaning from one leg to another during take, or slightly lean from back to front during take and also shot was lower from head height and make movement just as an spice to the shots, not the main ingredient. Of course sometimes it has to be prominent, but not all the time ...
