No joke, you’re my favorite large format photographer on KZbin right now. Robbie Maynard and Bryan Birks are close second or third, but your videos are so chill and you take the kinds of photos I take. Keep it up sir.

Thank you man I really appreciate you saying. I’ve got loads of large format stuff to come once my wedding season starts to calm down!

Haha thanks man. Turns out I might have a drinking problem 😂

You had me at “catching up and getting drunk.” Seriously, you have a very approachable style. The story of the triptych for your friend was very interesting. Nice work. That could be a separate video. I loved the portrait from a distance with the faucet in the foreground.

Thank you. Had a busy summer with work so did a few videos where I just ended up squeezing loads into one!

The triptych is superb! The evening shot of the pier is knock-out! And actually printing photos and framing them adds so much. Love the channel, Tom, and your work.

Thank you. 100% photos need to be printed and framed. Only problem is when you run out of wall space!

The triptych was a great idea. The third photo is actually my favourite. Love the moon in it. Bloody hell the pier is long haha

Thanks man, I was happy with how they turned out. Longest pleasure pier in the world haha! That’s what anyone from southend will tell you anyway.

Definitely do more of the hiking photography stuff (that's what I try to make as well :) ). One of the biggest advantages of sunrise compared to sunset, less people are willing to get up that early, so for photography you usually have the place all to yourself :-).

Sorry to hear about your negs man, they really are in a state, Dev at home is pretty easy if you've got a sous vide and using a Mod54 in the Patterson tank is really simple if you're keen to try it! Plus no waiting for a lab.
@Tom-Humble3 жыл бұрын
Yeh I’ve developed colour film at home before but didn’t want to risk ruining them. Perhaps I should have just done them myself!
@Notimportant19953 жыл бұрын
@@Tom-Humble I've developed so many and it's honestly really easy, with either the Mod54 or using a Jobo system instead. Easiest way to get good at anything is to just do it!

Hi Tom, we have a great group on Facebook called ‘UK film photography and darkroom’, we’ve compiled files with things like photo labs and camera repair shops so it might be a useful resource for you if you would like to see what’s out there. There’s also a great bunch of people on there who would love to see your work and we can help each other with any film queries.
