Very easy to shoot :), fairly controllable, minimal climb especially compared to the Thompson. But the MP 40 took the cake for most pleasant gun to shoot

OMG THEY HAVE AN MP40. Omg that's my favorite gun, it's the only gun I'd ever want to own specifically, not for self defense, but just to buy a bunch of blanks and shoot it at a range, it sounds so good and I can only imagine how good it feels to shoot.

​@@lilwyvern4 well, so far I haven't heard anything good about it practically it doesn't have single fire like PPSh it also doesn't have any special grip, so you either use the mag or the barrel [bad idea] another thing is that the mag quality originally was pretty terrible [though ppsh's drum mags were also well, drum mags] one amazing thing about it though: it and sten are just textbook example of how to learn how open bolt works. I looked at the illustration for them and it all instantly made sense.

Ahhhh, the MP40. So good. The first mag I ran through one, I actually rolled it on its side to look at the ejection port to make sure it was actually firing because it was so smooth. Having spent a decent amount of time with each, I have to say that MP40 is tied with M3 Grease Gun with being GOAT, MP5 is better when you shoot it in semi. It jumps a lot (not that M3 doesn't, but the M3 just falls back on target, so more controllable in my book) more than the earlier ones. IMO, even the Uzi in fun mode is more controllable than the MP5 in same. The MP5 in semi is REALLY good, though.

The only Full Auto weapon I have fired is an M60. I have fired an M16 and a 203. It was an M16 with a 203 and I got use the 40mm. Sure was fun. Nice seeing you have a great day on the range.
