One of the rings you can get from the altar thing with a choice of 25 gems or 4000 gold is a ring with many effects including no ammo usage, very fun as well like this synergy

Love the series make sure you keep going right in the town before the series ends. It’s a nice little area and it’d be a shame if you never see it. Also there’s some extra stuff if you do the gem area a lot I’m pretty sure.

The bow is better with just 1 accessory slot (the legendary), while the coin gun needs 3, possibly 4 (including the legendary) to be able to best the bow. And the bow is just a rinky-dink default skeleton's bow. It's crazy

If you are looking for bad but cool weapons, witch broom gives flight while shooting. Good with infinite ammo ring for perma wings.

I think the money problem was just that you couldn't sell your items to the character full passive. Also today accessory luck was pretty bad, you finished the run with the charged one that you started and 5 blue ones.

For me, the mystic skill would let you have one of those runs you'd been hoping for when presented an item while in the middle of an entirely different run. For example, when you get that dragon sword on a run where you're just not playing an elemental build. You could leave it in your inventory and then keep it for the next run once you're finished allowing you to immediately have that elemental run you'd been hoping for. You could even forego the altar so that you're only starting with the one higher tier item, for balance. The main issues I see with it is whether or not the mystic skill actually benefits your build at all. Also, I think the piggy-bank (and the gold portal) really shine at the difficulty level where the shops cost 25% more (which I think includes VIII), since they allow you a combined total starting gold of 12k. More than enough to snowball a run or, at least, enough to ensure you almost never have to go without a food item that you'd otherwise have to have let go. I know your stint with the game is finished and this comment is kinda redundant, but I thought I'd put it out there anyway. I love your channel, and this specific series, too. I loved your Slice & Dice series too (I had just started playing it when YT suggested it , and you, to me).
