Been binge watching your channel and i'm loving everything, especially to see another black woman in the photography bussiness and in the film category also. Really appreciate the straight to the point approach and how chill you explain your process. Thanks for sharing! :)

Hey Ejatu, love your work and your channel! I'm always nervous to do self portraits on film (esp. medium format) because i know getting good focus on my face will be difficult. it was good to see that sometimes you just have to be brave and be willing to miss some shots. i'm going to give my new SL66 a go tonight! thx! :)

Thank you so much for your support!! Honestly it’s so worth working through the nervousness! I find I can be overcautious also, so self portraits are a great opportunity for leaning into chaos and making mistakes 😂 Hope you had a fun self portrait shoot!

The whole self portrait is so difficult with these, the DoF is so thin!! I was wondering if maybe it was possible to emulate a tethered digital camera by setting a webcam inside or above the waist finder, this way you could have a good enough idea of what's in the frame.
