The plate carrier this guy in the red shirt is one of the best put together I've ever seen, I'm talking about the entire assembly, load out and organization.Lots of features on a minimalist board.

Excellent video, thank you for making it. Bullets down in mag holder tips in front, pointer finger touches the mags when drawing from holster and inserts into mag well. We naturally know where our pointer finger is so it's easy to find the mag well. IMO

My thumb was about a quarter inch higher than it should’ve been, little extra pressure on that slide is enough to do it. Those pistols are pretty under sprung.

If you don’t mind a small drive, MCTA in Kiln Mississippi is a good range. A membership is 160ish every 6 months and you get 24/7 access. Me and my buddies would go out at 2am and shoot under nods and white light. They have 5 25 yard pistol bays, a 50 yard pistol and rifle bay, a 100 yard rifle bay and a 200 yard rifle bay. If you’re not a member, it’s open Friday, Saturday and Sunday and you just can’t draw from holster.

Curious why you’re in full kit to train hard skills. Or why the drill incorporates an irrelevant hypothetical in its justification. Or why you think there is literally any value in sliding behind a paper target. Or why you think 3 slow rounds from a rifle at 10 is any sort of meaningful standard. Would love to see yall shoot a uspsa or 2 gun match lol
@oriontraininggroupllc2782

Watch the video and listen to the words that are coming out of my mouth. It’s a simple diagnostic tool for someone to test all the movements, while having a high accuracy standard (half the size of an A zone). You would be surprised how many people have not put this all together in a single drill, or have not incorporated lateral movement with a reload, and so-on. Shooting competitions is great, and I am actively doing that locally, but there’s a lot more than that to train on.
@tylerreis7627

@@oriontraininggroupllc2782 there is literally nothing this drill “diagnoses” that cannot be diagnosed in dry fire. Contextualized outcome based live fire training is quite worthless when it comes to building hard skills

@@oriontraininggroupllc2782bro your walking around a gun store advertising with NODs on your head, this ain’t a training company, your marketing. And it couldn’t be more obvious when you shoot. What are those .4 splits with a comped staccato?
@oriontraininggroupllc2782
@oriontraininggroupllc2782 3 ай бұрын
@@JB4545-v2j This video was filmed at a store that simply asked us to plug them in exchange for use of the venue. That’s basic business practices, but I know a lot of people have no idea how to run a business. Generally speaking, when shooting on a small circle for a drill focusing on accuracy and economy of motion more than splits, it makes sense to confirm at a higher level than when the target is a (relatively speaking) tall A zone. The a zone is designed for drills like doubles, whereas a bullseye is designed more for slow fire. The target here was specifically picked as a small circle so that the shooter is focusing on more things than their split time lol. Obviously the better one is, even on the small circle targets the split speeds up. Shooting this for a demo and wanting to not fail it, I shot a passing time, but if we use the drill as a diagnostic like the video says, a simple self critique is to go a bit faster next time. To clarify, I take the time to explain this because I know others will read it. You are using a fake account in order to spread negative comments, and I know I’ll never change your mind about this company. Thanks for the free engagement:)

@@oriontraininggroupllc2782so you’re using a drill where you shoot from cover, do reloads, and re holster your hand gun under time to test and assess slow fire accuracy/ marksmenship fundamentals on a bulls eye? Right… that totally makes sense. Can you make some videos on footwork please? Im not spreading negativity, you’re spreading shit training and over selling experience to market .
