A few years ago I was pulled over by a state trooper here in michigan. Really cool guy. He knew me from around Detroit bcuz I use to be young and dumb lol. But he knew I was harmless so he had me in his front seat running my stuff. Some dude came flying by. Hit a car and took off. The trooper literally goes "oh my God fuck yes!!! back in the 1970s in LA California I had one of the fastest Dodge Polaris in LA county there was no highway patrol or state trooper. They could catch me one Friday evening about 12 o’clock at night. I was in my 442 old cutlass 1967 when a Dodge police unit pulled up behind me, he was running a 440 the passenger said out run them I said not tonight. Automobiles came out run 440 Chrysler so the red lights came on and I had 13 exhibition speeding tickets. They were not happy to say the least went to County Jail. I talked to men to let my friend take the car, but those were different days different times as long as you were respectful to the officers even in a high-speed chase if the chase got dangerous, I would pull over and believe it or not. The officers would let me go and say that was a good run don’t let me catch you doing it again.
