Now I like your videos! Real down to earth and unpretentious. You're a good shot if you can hit a pumpkin that size and that far with that gun. I found one similar at an estate sale a couple weeks ago. It was made in Japan ca. 1970's I'd guess. I have to find a nipple to fit it. I have no idea what size it takes. I make my own BP too. Thanks for doing this video.

Im not sure about that. I do have a trapper in .50 cal but the little Kentucky may only be .45 im not sure

@@SpiritoftheOutdoors tell you a story bout a wild turkey I raised sometime. Coons might catch a hen om the nest but I'd just like to see a coon take on a full grown Tom. I figure the Tom could whip a coon or a coyote 5 ways to sundown and be looking for another fight right after the event. They are the meanest sneakiest most awful birds ever created and the only reason they run together is so they can look for a weakness in the other bird and when they find it beat him senseless. Remind of some people I've known in the past. Only reason a Tom turkey would run was so they could wait till you give up the fight and turn your back. I'll tell you they are mean sneaks. Nothing does my heart more good than wafting turkey feathers after a shotgun blast of number 4 or 5 shot.

You could file an angle on the sight blade rather than reversing it.

You can use a cap lock and 5grs of powder to make a fire by shooting a wad of 3x3 cotton cloth into the air

Should have got you a flintlock it's easier to clean the vent hole after you fired, rather than having to unscrew the nipple and clear the nipple and the vent hole before you fire your next round

Just take a file and knock the corner off the sight so it doesn't snag your belt on the draw.
