STARGATE SG-1’S FIFTH SEASON kicked off with the episode “Enemies,” which saw the team stranded in a distant galaxy and overrun by their two worst enemies: the System Lord Apophis and a swarm of Replicators. The episode climaxes with an incredible action sequence, as Jack, Sam, and Daniel rush through the corridors of a Goa’uld ship infested with Replicators.
In this clip from a longer conversation on “Dial the Gate,” the show’s armorer Rob Fournier remembers filming this sequence and the extra challenges it posed to the crew - including the sheer concussive force of firing so many blanks in the enclosed space of the sound stage. He also recalls the similarly confined quarters of the Russian submarine in Season 4’s “Small Victories,” and the “stupid gun” used by Teal’c in that episode.
This clip is from Dial the Gate's full-length, 85-minute conversation with Rob Fournier. Watch the full interview here: • 211: Rob Fournier Part...
