WHEN STARGATE SG-1 decided to do a comedic "lower decks" episode in the show's sixth season, one actor was clearly a perfect fit for guest lead. Comedian Patrick McKenna was something of a household name as the star of Canada's "The Red Green Show," and he made a wonderfully awkward and quirky Jay Felger.
In this conversation with "Dial the Gate" Patrick reminisces about his time on the show, starting with Season 6's "The Other Guys" - alongside his fellow co-star John Billingsley ("Simon Coombs"). He talks about the kind of guy that Felger is, and just how welcoming the cast and crew was to his comedic ad-libbing.
