Gavin, you are an absolute master. And one of the few people whose work makes me detest photoshop ever so slightly less. Still, the various comments here about the shadow side of the model's face in relation to the lamp point out that lighting may still be in the world of analog. Thank goodness something is. Gavin, enjoy this shoot and it came out really well.Although I would have added an additional step and would have added to the stage right side of her face a warm up to the lamp lighted shadowed area. Then it would be nearly perfect. Keep up the fun work.

first of all, you are one of the best photography instructors out there - love how you build your lighting setups step by step. second, for this final 'snow' shot, would you also consider adding a warm highlights on the model's left side of her face to show the lantern 'glow'? again, love your videos!

Thanks for your video and its really helps! There is one more thing I think you may need to adjust, which is the skin facing to the lantern. Because the lantern is so bright, there skin close to it should be more bright with warmer colour. What do you think?

Hi Gavin, I am learning a lot from your videos a and this is the one I definitely try to replicate. I have bought snow business artificial snow spray, it looks exactly like the one you are using, but yours is creating this nice big snow flakes on the model, mine is not. Are you using special nozzle or are there different versions of this spray?

Great video Gavin... my only critique is the lantern is positioned on the shadow side of her face. Although the lantern is lit, it isn't providing any light to the shadow side of the face.
