Shooting With a $20 2004 Nikon D70. Mythical 'Filmic' CCD Sensor?

Inspired by the recent CCD sensor hype, I just scored a beautiful, classic Nikon D70 for a mere $20. Here I am, shooting it for the first time in my local park on a dull, grey day with a $60 Nikon 50mm f1.8 D AF Lens. With its 6MP CCD sensor can I find that mythical 'film like' look in the images it captures? Watch the slideshow and you be the judge!
All images shot in RAW and tone matched to the original JPEGs. Any editing was limited to basic exposure tweaks, all colours are 'as is'.
