2008 Dodge Charger Pursuit Review

If you get a 2009 Dodge charger with the 5.7L it has more horsepower than the previous years. Also on the police versions where you have your column shifter the button you push in when activated deactivates the 4-cylinder mode and makes it so the car runs on all eight cylinders all the time. Also on the shifter is the plus and minus arrow which allows you to manually upshift and downshift the transmission. The police cars have an engine brake which helps the car slow down a lot faster and prevents people from knowing you're slowing down fast because it doesn't activate your brake lights. Using the manual shift activates that feature. The police version also has upgraded heavy-duty brakes.

I liked your video. You forgot to mention how incredibly supportive the front bucket seats are. Also you forgot to mention how incredibly fast they are, especially when it's under 50°. I had a completely stock 2010 Dodge charger EX police car and I can beat a stock Subaru WRX

My Pursuit used to be a Border Patrol vehicle and it has that same problem above the vents where the dash doesn't fit right and it looks identical. Glad to see mine isn't the only one.

I have one I’ve had it for 7 years and I’ve had 24s on it for 4 years,And I still have my original transmission and it runs very strong.. my engine went out at 200,000 miles and I had it rebuilt two years ago and has been running fine every since

You must recognize, that an longer production run engine is mostly the best coice, espevially when we talk about V8´s with pushrod Valvetrain and also in the naturally asphirated version, too...thats all ab BIG FAT + & even not something bad. Because in most times in history, the engines with the longer production run are the best engines, because they can be go better & better over the years. The next about engines is, that if you like an more reliable engine you´ve to go the way with the engines with more displacement and cylinders, especially with an V8....,ALL BIG FAT +, also an longer run of production gives you a lot more aftermarket products...Gives you more options, and even that is what the GEN III HEMI, especially the 5.7 Version can give you. There are so bad politics out there what are introducing the horrible, bad EV´s and even engines with tiny displacement; A BIG FAT AGENDA AGAINST RELIABLILITY & ENGINES WHAT ARE THE BEST FOR THE CUSTOMER...But so less people recognize that?! I ask e why because it´s so good to see and recognize that. And so it is the best way to go with these less kinds of cas/Engines out there now, with even all these things i told you about. It´s also importand to tell you that the GEN III. HEMI isn´t that old. It was a whole new design in 2003 and they was very successful in the design because they´ve gave this egine so many things what are a BIG FAT +. The MDS was a lot ahead of its time. However i´m not a fan of this, because it could be better now, after they´ve seen that the MDS is something what makes problems "in many times" what´s called the "HEMI Tick" and if they would make it better, it was better now. But you´ve to see that EVERY, REALLY EVERY CAR OF EVERY MAKE has those issues what are called "common issues", but that are these issues what are build in in the designs of all cars, that the people go and buy a new car after the Production/Company Guaranties runned out. Because these "build in issues" in the designs are something waht was introduced with a lot more "perfection" in the last decade by the automakers. There are really studie shops at the universities out there were the students have to learn how to build/design an Product (not only cars) that it will get isues and problems after the guaranties runned out. I´m sorry if i´ve not even the right words, but i´m from bavaria (ger) and my english has limits, sorry. But that´s not an conspiracy theory, that´s even that how they learn to design products. But even with Automobiles like these you can find out theyr specific issues and then you can do something against that. For example; You could turn of the MDS at the HEMIS ore you know that these engines runns to hot out of the stock, then you´ve to do something against that, like using external Motoroil radiators, or also an bigger water radiator, an 180 degree termostat &&&... You can build the long lasting car whit that knowledge and a little bit of thinking about how to handle that. That´s what these HEMIS has; the option to geht a lot better car than the most other cars with tiny displacement and turbocharger, even downsizers, what are junk in my eyes. And the biggest junk were you CAN´t DO ANYTHING what will expand the lifespan, what is even the perfect one-way-Automobile, or even junk out of the stock, that is the Electric Vehicle. That´s the truth about the EV´s. And why the politics, what are corrupt like the EU are making "rules" to get the good Automobile with Gasoline and Diesel engines more and more away from the market...But we customers has that only choice; We can buy NOT an EV, or even drive our old cars longer until the Automakers HAVE TO produce cars like these chargers or something else again....WE CAN SAY NO to an EV. Also however theyr "rules" or something else like that will say, we shouldn´t do anything what takes us the good cars.

Yes. And there is no child lock options on them either.

Yes, but there are locks for them on the 'outside'. If you open the front doors and look the jam of the rear doors you'll find a little pull stick thingy. Mine were so old they were stuck and I even broke one side trying to pull only to find out it was previously mashed in and the springs were busted anyway.
