Excellent video thank you! This has to be the most enjoyable video that I have ever watched on KZbin😂 I used to write magazine articles for Military Modelling magazine, for my first commission I was given a new plastic model kit which had not been released in the UK and I set it on fire(!) I documented this and other mistakes that I made and how I rectified them and it was all published in the magazine. The feedback from readers was that they loved it, because no one had ever admitted to making mistakes in magazine articles before. Nearly taking out your conservatory window illustrated the danger of the spring removal far better than a glib "Be careful, because the spring in under pressure" ever would! I hope that your wife forgives you eventually and that you allowed back into the house.

Another great video. When I saw the screwdriver going in to free up the spring I did think “oh no!”, and was right. But I’m pleased you left it in the video. It demonstrates to people the preload that these rifles can have and the danger they can cause. Better they see it on your video than experience it themselves. I guess it’s a reality video. Take care and stay safe. Cheers 👍

Speaking of muzzle weights, I hope I can help someone. I have a HW95K and although it's had a TBT short stroke dropped in, it still flipped and twisted terribly. I was gonna get rid. Anyway, I found a chunky 3" bolt and wrapped it in leather. Then I used camo tape and finally electrical tape to solidly fix it underneath the very end of the silencer/moderator. It weights 125g and doesn't get in the way of cocking or closing the barrel. The results were phenomenal. It went from a load of garbage to a tack driver that almost rivals my TX200. Like I say, this is just what I'v bodged to make the rifle infinitely better and I hope it helps someone 👍

Really enjoyed the TX200 video and this one as well. Most of us can shoot a gun fairly well but, like you, are not great at fettling them. But you've shown how most of us would get on if we did it ourselves. I'm going to have a go. Thanks.

Short stroking doesn’t increase power as it reduces the space in front of the piston(swept volume) hence reducing the power as well as the lock time. Short stroking is great for the hw80, webley tomahawk, Diana 52 and similar magnum rated air rifles.

Thank you, I enjoyed that 🤣 There were lots of lessons for everyone to learn 🤣 I fitted a TbT tuning kit a few days ago, fortunately there were no ‘near misses’/comedy moments 🤣 The only real problem I had was getting the new spring guide into the spring that came with the rifle - it was a very, very tight fit. I found a sash clamp (about £15 from ScrewFix) was just what I needed to compress and lock the spring it in place. P.S. don’t forget the safety catch, that needs to go back in before the trigger mechanism is refitted.

Totally the wrong way to remove the barrel, correct way is remove cocking arm, then break the barrel and remove the screws as there's no resistance it will be much easier, also when stripping any gun always use a hollow ground screwdriver that will fit the slotted screw perfectly, normal screwdrivers can very easily slip out and scratch the bluing.
