Great match and good commentary. Masters is always a decent level of play, especially at the championship level. Also, an honest description of the turmoil that goes on in our head, while we’re sitting down or at the table and trying to calm ourselves.

Absolutely. Thanks for the thorough comment. That's my goal with this commentary - do something different. There's tons of channels out there that do your run-of-the-mill sportscasting. I'd rather talk mental game, managing emotions, and techniques.

I'm digging your videos, my man.. keep up the great work. On a side note, this one looks like it might have been filmed with a nextel flip phone.. what's up? 😂

Thanks brother. I actually believe this video was filmed with a toaster 🤣 They were streaming the match with their phone onto FB, where I had to source it. Lots of loss of quality as a result. Premiere upscaling can only get us so far.

Good fight. Are there more videos of your team going on?

Thanks! I am working on digging up one more, but I still have to get the team's permission to use it for my channel. Fingers crossed!

Enjoy the video. Tough loss buddy. My name is Chuck and I live in South Carolina. I mostly play online streaming. But just recently joined papa pool League. I'm a 93 handicap. And it's a lot like bca rule.

Hey Chuck, thanks for checking out my video. Glad you enjoyed it. Lots of pressure out there in Vegas. Luckily, we still ended up beating this team and advancing.

~12:00 In my APA days, we rarely got over 45 minutes per match. Playing several 1hr+ grinders in a day would certainly be exhausting. You mentioned hydrating, but how's the food situation? I can't imagine sustaining that long on bar food, especially being on your feet for that much AND using brain calories
@OnTheSnap9 ай бұрын
So true. Luckily, we had slightly better than bar food since we're in the hotel/convention area. The trick is stuffing the food down between matches. Oftentimes you don't even have enough time to go wait in line for food, eat it, and get to your next table. Fortunately, I had family and friends there who could run and grab me some food between matches which I had to eat on the go.

31:53 i would skim off the 14 and bring Q near the 8

I like that play. Create some distance.

You really have to try to take a break whenever you can in these tournaments. Walk away and go out to the casino for a while. Your right it can be exhausting
@OnTheSnap9 ай бұрын
So true. Going through the casino was not very relaxing for me because of all the smoke. I would go outside, walk the convention floor, or even go up to my room to get some peace if I had the time. I saw lots of people fall apart on and off the table because they weren't taking care of themselves out there.
