Hello, and Welcome to Bart's Adventure Shop...I think it has a ring to it. And I'm glad your dad is not just sitting around supervising and drinking coffee but getting stuck right in there. Haha. Super work on the knife repair, now better than new i reckon. I think if we don't see you for a few weeks we know you'll be out skating somewhere probably. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work. .

Thanks Pedro. My dad sure is nice to have around. And he helps as long as there is coffee 😁

Gday Bart, thank you the shop update, it was great to see you out enjoying yourself with your girlfriend and parents, ice skating looks like a lot of fun but I think I’d be on my ass more the on the skates, the lathe looks better on the angle and it’ll be a lot easier to clean around the back now, I’m looking forward to seeing the collaboration project, sounds interesting, take care mate, cheers Matty

Great vid Bart. My ocd has issue with the machine angle but there is a good reason for it. You will get used to it if you can ignore it for a while.

Thanks for sharing. You think -10C is cold? How about you come over in January or February when we hit -40C. Hope it warms up soon for you. Cheers

I enjoyed the ice skating footage. We always did that when I was a kid in the northeast US. But it never gets cold enough now to freeze the ponds enough for skating. I miss that a lot. Looking forward to Arduino project. Lots you can do with Arduinos and the inexpensive cameras they support. Stay warm!

Yes Ice Skating is fun. The last time I was able to do this on the lakes was three years ago.

you all speed skate? we played hockey, my son was a speed skater, then when he went to college, there were no speed skaters, so no rink time... he started playing hockey... needless to say he was the fastest on the team. Nice having your dad help you.

Yes most of the Dutch speed skate and not so much hockey. But speed is relative 😁. Many are just beginners level. My parents do this a lot and even indoors and me too when I was younger. We also did a 200KM (in one day) a few times. That is a famous Dutch route but because there is not enough ice the last couple of years there is an alternative version in Austria. So we when there and did 200km. Hockey would also be nice and I can believe you son is a fast skater on the team 💪👍

Eerst maar even zo proberen.
