You said poor people in Russia -its in UKRAINE WAR
@Crazy4Retro2 ай бұрын
Hi! Yes, we absolutely feel terrible about the war on Ukraine! I was referring to the peaceful people in Russia having a horrible dictator that they can't manage to overthrow. I feel sorry for them and many other countries in the same situation. I certainly wasn't saying anything to support that evil regime!

Hi Rob & Lisa! Thank you for watching our video! We are glad if you enjoyed seeing what we decided to show. We may visit there only a few times a year. I haven't seen a lot of change. But I usually find something reasonably priced. Thanks much for writing. Hi from Norm. He's doing pretty good, so he's trying to do a lot of things outdoors to keep up this place. He tends to overdo it and then he has a lot of pain by evening. I'm always appreciative that he wants to tackle so many things by himself considering his age. This morning he was experiencing numbness and tingling in his fingers because he overdid some repair of our front steps at the threshold. He was caulking and sealing a big space that opened (from settling) with a fancy weather stripping or trim piece of some sort that he found at Menards. It looks nice, but it's easy to hurt your wrist and hand tendons doing stuff like that. :-( He's always been a hard worker, like both our dear dads. We hope you two are enjoying your summer. Have a great week ahead!

Our Lord sent your video just in time. I suffer from debilitating chronic pain and today has been a dozey . Watching your tours along with your soothing voices calms and distracts my mind from the pain. Thank you for letting Father use you Norm and Peggy!

Hugs and prayers, Debra, for God's comfort and healing. We're so sorry to know that about you. Forgive us if you shared it earlier, and we've not remembered. Life is so difficult with chronic pain. I, too, have quite a bit of that, which makes me lose strength from inactivity. It can be depressing. I know that there are so many who have much worse pain daily than myself. It can be hard for others to grasp and understand. We thank you for sharing your very difficult situation. It's so kind of you to let us know that we can give you some time to be distracted with the videos. I do have times when I question my interest in keeping up our channel. It is a daily job because I'm slow and very particular about our content. Your message makes us grateful to learn we can bring some joy to you and others who are suffering in ways or have too much stress in their lives. We are very blessed by our holy Father 🙏 to have our abilities at our old age. Thank you again, Debra, for your kind words and may He bless you in some ways each day. Much love from us both.❤️

I'm sorry for your pain. Thankfully, one of God's healing gifts to us is the peace and joy of companionship-even vicariously through the web. Peg's voice is very soothing to listen to, and the vicarious pleasure of walking through a myriad of charming vintage things is a blessed distraction. May God bring you healing.

I loved the Russian horse. I love Russian handicrafts. They are do colorful. My som was born in August so I i liked the August angel too. Glad you found one thing to buy. Its always fun to have at least one fun purchase to show for all the browsing.

Hi Jill! Thank you for watching our video! We are glad you enjoyed seeing things at that mall. The August Angel was adorable. Early "Happy Birthday!" to your son! My mom was also born in August on the 17th. We miss her. I agree, Russian items I've seen have always been colorful and fun. I'm sorry that I didn't react better to the sweet horse. I meant that I felt sorry for the peaceful Russian people who don't have any say to stop the aggressive wars. We wish you a blessed week ahead! ;-)

Norm & Peggy: didn’t see much that I wanted to take home. The collective had some high priced items. However, it is still a lot of fun to shop with you two. Carol from California
@Crazy4Retro2 ай бұрын
Hi Carol! Thank you for watching our video! We are glad you enjoyed seeing that mall. It definitely has a lot of expensive things locked in glass cabinets. We are very familiar with those expensive items, so I don't bother much to look in them. I wander along the edges where there's a lot of open shelving and more average priced items. I'm sure everyone would enjoy us panning those middle pricey cabinets just to see vintage items, but it would have taken a very long time to film all that. The back of the store has less expensive items too. Thanks again for writing to us! We wish you a blessed week ahead! ;-)

Hi Maria! Thank you for watching our video! We are glad you enjoyed seeing things at that mall. There was so much more, expensive items, in locked cabinets that we aren't as interested in, mainly because they are very expensive. It would have taken a lot of time to film all of that fancy stuff. I just like looking at the things mostly on open shelving there that are affordable. We wish you a blessed week ahead! ;-)

Oh, I kept thinking you did not hear Norm ask if you wanted him to get those for you but you really did not want them after such admiring comments. You have so many beautiful things already so I can understand being more selective. Norm and his casket comment…”the last thing he needs.”😂. You and Norm both had the “don’t want its” today. I have shopping days like that.😅. Hey, guys, what is the latest scoop?😊. You two are on a roll today…gesundheit. Cute purchase…finally.

Hi Diane! Thank you for watching another video! We are glad you enjoyed seeing things at that big mall and also hearing our crazy joking. There was so much more of expensive items in locked cabinets there that we aren't really interested in, mainly because they are very pricey or too antique for us. It would have taken a lot of time to film all of that fancy stuff. I just like looking at the things mostly on open shelving there that are affordable. Yes, that was a pretty set of Roselane birds, but I have been trying hard to be choosey. I am very spoiled having found so many gorgeous CA Originals MCM birds with gold accents. (I was very happy purchasing that turquoise and gold tall Swan, in Hastings, MN last week. I hope to share it soon.) So I can live without the plainer pottery birds, unless I found something very, very inexpensive or thrifted one. Norm is so generous and is quick to want to spoil me with anything that I'm admiring. That's sweet, but I need to cut way back now, as best as I can. ;-) I'm always going to weaken for something spectacular, if it's within reason for price. I am honestly out of shelf space in our basement laundry room storage area, and the garage, and our shed, too. ;-( Thanks much, Diane, for your fun message, as always. We wish you a blessed week ahead!

Bit of high prices in there. I am sure the booths cost a lot to rent in the city, so prices are higher. Thanks for the shopping trip!

PEG, PLEASE SEND ME THE PHONE NUMBER OF THIS STORE? Love following your explorations and the wonderful 'show and tells' at your charming home. I REALLY WANT to contact this particular antique mall. You panned over a darling little blue mouse salt & pepper set (at 8:42 in the video), and I sooooo want those little guys! I can't make out a booth number or identifier on the $29 price tag, but maybe you'd remember something that could help me identify them to the store so they could find them for me? They were at the end section of a row of display cabinets with glass fronts and glass, labeled shelves, (on a shelf you labeled in your video as 'Warner Bros Evan Shaw' ).
@Crazy4Retro2 ай бұрын
Hi! Sure! 😊 The number is 952-894-7200. We'd prefer that you don't identify our channel at this time. Tell them a friend sent you a video, and you spotted the Warner Brothers Sniffles the Mouse S&P set for $29 in the last cabinet, right side, down from their checkout counter, I believe. It looks like a sticker says, "Key 15". I hope that is helpful. They are in with lots of other Disney S&P sets. Thanks much for watching and writing! It is at Antiques Minnesota Inc.

This must be Burnsville antiques Minnesota not Minneapolis
@Crazy4RetroАй бұрын
Hi! Yes, it is that mall. Thanks for watching. I Googled 'Burnsville,' and they said this: People also ask... Is Burnsville a suburb of Minneapolis? Established in 1858 and incorporated in 1964, Burnsville is now the ninth largest suburb in the metro area and a commuter's dream with easy access to Minneapolis and Saint Paul." Have a good weekend!
