Great video Ken!! I'm going from HO down to N Scale, I love the way you build roads and parking lots, I've watched your videos a ton over the years and gleaned a lot of great techniques from them, Thanks!!!!

@@AllenCNW441 ok mr critic, but the person who posted this isn't the maker of the video. I'm at 18 mins though and it seems fine.

Found this on Amazon to hold my HO F's GP etc, just a little short for SD etc. 6-Drawer Wooden Storage Box (19.6”x6.89”x19.6”) VIntage Filing Cabinet in Walnut Wood - 16-Slot Wooden Desk Drawer Unit. So far all 32 draws are full, and there is no reason why N scale locomotives sitting 3 a breast can not go into each drawer.

Wow! Have you ever caught a slug on a road freight before?

It's interesting why manufacturers make the same freight cars. Especially 3 bay covered hoppers. I was hoping for someone to come out with a Trinity 6421 capacity plastic pellet covered hopper. Since everything is made of plastic its the most popular in the real world. Atlas has the ACF 5250, 5701 and 5800 car. They could do the ARI/GREENBRIER Center Flow. ARI having the Blue logo and Greenbrier having it in Green. Rapido and Scaletrains have the Procor and Pullman Standard 5850 Ribbed side car. Walthers has the National Steel Car model which hasn't been produced in a while. Hopefully more modern stuff is coming next year.

If you put vaseline on the 'cement' side of the wood forms, they might come away easier?

I've only used Smooth-It for making concrete/roadway material so far. It's nice to not have to go back over after it's dried and you can easily sand it, so clearing around track is fairly easy. I did use the India ink and alcohol thing though, and also used like Boomer Diorama, using a little water based polyurethane layers between very diluted acrylic paint layers for things that aren't your normal pavement colors. Anybody know the cost difference between this stuff and Smooth-It? Plaster obviously needs mixed...and I wonder if it's close enough to just normal plaster.
What's inside the BIG BOY? Let's find out!
