​@@jochenkraus7016Michael Schulz hat aber (obwohl die Anlage durchaus einen gewissen Reiz hatte), einen ziemlichen Mist gebaut, zumindest in technischer Hinsicht (keine saubere, entgleisungssichere Gleisverlegung, zu starke Steigungen). Es war nicht die schlechteste Idee, alles abzureißen und neu zu bauen. Die Anlage "Märklin of Schweden" ist eine ganz andere Liga, da reicht die Anlage von Michael Schulz, obwohl nicht schlecht, nicht heran. Ich wollte, ich hätte so viel Platz, und könnte so eine phantastische Anlage mein eigen nennen (würde sie allerdings nicht kaufen weil ich 2-Leiter Gleichstrom habe und auch nicht daß nötige Kleingeld für eine Fertiganlage dieser Größe). Kann nicht verstehen, wie man sich von so einer tollen Anlage trennen kann.

Your layout is absolutely nice but I think selling it will be a challenge because: - short notice :) - most model railroad hobbyists prefer to build their own layout instead of buying a "ready to go" one - Only Marklin users will want these marklin specific tracks with the dot in the middle - people from oustide your city (even someone from Sweden who lives far away from you) will have to pay a lot to manage the transport. I can't imagine how hard it should be to deliver it to France for example Anyway the price asked is very honest for such a state of the art layout :)

I agree to some extent, but would like to add that most railroad hobbists never come around getting started building a layout. Most of both the Scandinavian and German guys are Märklin fans and.. this layout fits into the loading area of a light truck for type B license, so the transport stops at maximum €800 anywhere in Europe.

Sad to hear you are selling the layout, but I also think you will have an even better one once you get going. I find every time I do that, 3 times now, the resulting layout is better due to my greater knowledge, not only of modeling methods but also new elements I want include and things I wish to dispense with. It must be heartbreaking at that day when this beautifull layout have to leave your house. I'm looking forward to the episodes of making your new layout. I still at the point of drawing my layout :-( and was looking for some insights at your trackplan and noticed 2 things. The biggest curves are R2 curves? and in this video at 3:00 you see huge changes between the 3 tracklevels. It surprices me there are no difficulties with large passenger cars and long, heavy trains. All the best in your new house and hope to see new videos in the future.

Me sorprendio la noticia, pero como dijeron en otros comentarios. Es un lienzo en blanco tu nueva casa, asi que espero y se que el nuevo diseño va a ser superador a este, con toda la experiencia adquirida y tu buen gusto, seguramente me quede sorprendido. Yo tambien tengo un canal de youtube de mi diseño ocupa un poco mas de espacio que el tuyo, y se lo dificil que es llegar a tenerlo funcionando al 100% y tambien lo dificil que es diseñar algo cercado a la realidad en tan poco espacio, ya que una maqueta de trenes muy largos nos seria imposible, pero que bien que se ven esos trenes cortos pero muy lindos, yo en mi diseño tengo tambien un motor con 4 coches de pasajeros como largo maximo, pero se ven muy bien. Por otra parte para el que quiera tenerlo es completamente transportable ya que le mio si tuviera que venderlo tambien se divide en tres partes. Muchas suerte con la subasta, ojala veas este comentario y puedas tomar ideas para tu nuevo diseño de mi maqueta asi como yo tome de la tuya. Es mas si ves mis videos seguramente te des cuenta de una que esta muy a la vista jaja.

I've always wondered how large layouts are moved. It's good you made it modular. I would like to make a layout that was built from small modules designed to be moved right from the start. Can you incorporate this into your new layout and show this technique in future videos?

Hi! I´m thinking to start building layouts for customers, like German BRIMA does, but only a few and with some size restrictions. If so I will be implementing their design, which is modular to a certain amount. I might also just build a layout and sell it when ready like I do with this one. Only difference is that I complete it within one year, instead of 10 years.
