I had an early (in CBR timeline) Cook's Cruiser that was the best ride ever. The memories that my bike and I created together are irreplaceable! I took the bus across town to purchase the frame/fork. To get home, the next bus... The driver didn't want to let me on with my new friend! Finally, the driver relented and said, go all the way to the back. Got home, built it up. Mint pair of wheels with Ukai rims, nice and wide for the 26x2.2125 Mistuboshi/CyclePro blue tread tires to fill out onto. Frame pad and crossbar pad, hadta have the classic BMX stuff!! Chrome and blue components. Loved that bike!! The CBR cranks were not crap, I used a set on my DH bike for many seasons. The right installation practices are not optional! Mammoth Mountain Kamikaze race, annnnnd, they are still in operation on my now classic DH from the era...

Sharp looking bike. I had never heard of Cook’s before. Had I run across just the frame, I probably would have thought it was an old Mongoose.

Hey, where's the bottom bracket spindle aluminum sleeves?, they keep the bearings from getting damaged when the crank arms get their final tightening. I've had this similar potential problem with cnc'ed front aluminum hubs and cromoly axle swapping, particularly the vandero hubs. Your adding or subtract sleeves so the tightening don't squeeze and pull the bearings inside the frame. Just a tip on high maintenance bearing care.

Yeah i was never a real bmx rider but i had a bike with a similar 2 pc sprocket, and i was constantly breaking the bolts that held it together just riding it around. No tricks done ever just pedaling.
