This turned out absolutely beautiful. Love metal and wood mixed. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.

Looks great and I really like your logo. FYI Rustoleum makes an Aged Iron paint that looks like wrought-iron. I've used it on outdoor railing balusters...looks trick kinda like dark gray with white specks. They claim it works on wood too so for pieces that are impractical to fab in steel or where weight is a concern you can do a mixed media thing and still make it look like one material with this paint. And you are right about the cost of those brackets. Anything that remotely mentions pergola in the same sentence immediately doubles the price. I built one a few years ago that was in a magazine ,and even though there was no exposed bracketry/fasteners, it still cost over $300 for Simpson Strongtie and GRK crap to pull it off.

Cool, I never thought about mixing wood and metal in a sign. Only thing if have done differently is using pass though bolts instead of wood screws

I heard you say I'm one of your videos might have been this one that the torch height control upgrade was one you really liked and I can tell you my absolute favorite upgrade was the Collision detection system. I'm not familiar with the brand of your machine so I don't know if they have that or not but once I got that I could set up full 5x10 sheet and have it cut out as much stuff as I wanted and go to bed and come out the next morning and it would be perfect and obviously if it did hit a tip up then I would have just stopped as opposed to ruining the rest of the plate

What software did you use Inorder to cut out the sign?

Fusion 360 for the cad and cam , and firecontrol for the plasma table

Nicely done. Some button cap screws would look nice on that. How happy are you with the Crossfire Pro? We're looking at adding CNC plasma cutting soon and looking for real world opinions. Cheers!
